Lindemans Kriek

The aroma is of cherry and hints of malt. Pours a deep red with a pinkish head. The head is long lasting with lacing. Lindemans Kriek has a nice cherry flavor with a malty hint.

Pours tawny red, with a red-tinted white head that doesn’t last long. Aroma is Cherry and Brettanomyces pungency, "lambic horseyness". Also mild malt and almond. Very plesant aroma. Taste is very deep, Bret. again, with malt, tart cherry, and a oaky nuttiness from the barrel and what must have been the pits of the cherries - almond-like. A bit sweet for a lambic, but not unacceptably so. Very nice.

bright red w/ off white head. cherry smell, slightly pungent as what lambic should be. though it’s a bit too sweet and maybe, too smooth.

Dark red with a small pink head. Slightly artificial aroma with some almond, but I thought the taste was delicious: sour, sweet, and with a variety of other flavours lurking in the background. Better than Belle-Vue Kriek.

An old favourite of mine, this rather dark red beer is fairly sweet, with just enough tartness to please. Too sweet for some lambic fans, I think it’s just brilliant. Plus three seperate others have confessed their love for it after one sip I gave them.

My wife likes this and I must admit I like it pretty well too. I would not compare it with ’beer’ because this is too much like a cherry cooler. Fizzy like champagne. Good for a lambic.

This is a great cherry beer for non-beer drinkers (dare I say a lady’s drink?). It will remind non-beer drinkers of a wine cooler, but with much better mouth feel and more complex flavor. It is very fruity and sour cherry comes through strongly. It is very refreshing. I really like it, although I like the raspberry (frambois) made by Lindemans a bit more.
