Lindemans Kriek

Deep red hue, with a thick creamy pink head, with sweet black cherry nose and marzipan aroma follows through on a sweet cherry palate, with a sweet black cherry flavor, hint of oakiness, sweet and sour touch, some acidity leading towards a very sweet cherry fruit finish. One of the more commercial kriek lambic in the market.

Red colour with a small pink head. Overwhelming sweet cherrie aroma and flavor. This is to sweet and too fruity for me.

pours red with a small pink head and smells of cherries, the taste is really sweet, cherry tasting not much bitterness at all, not bad, i just don’t think i am into lambics, unless i havent found a great one yet.

This is my favorite lambic. Tart cherries in every sip. This beer is the perfect after work refreshment during the summer. Pours cloudy red, frothy head diminishing to nothing. Aroma is of cherry couch drops. Try mixing half this lambic with a chocolate stout or any robust porter and taste the sweet chocolate/cherry goodness.

this is a great tasting ’beer’. definately another great product by lindemans.

Good for the style, which is difficult at best to bud drinkers. Nice barnyard background of hay and meadow muffins and leather. Sweet syrup and sour cherry dominate. I love it on a hot summer day and find it almost the most refreshing beer ever. Like a fizzy sour melted slurpee. Serve cold and let it get warm to appreciate the complexity.

1999 bottle. Poured a reddish body. Aroma is overly sweetened cherries. Sickly and unnaturally sweet just like its raspberry counterpart. Pleh

the aroma was reminicent of shirley temples, or cough drops. i rather enjoyed it. it poured a deep, dark reddish brown, with a thin red head. i found it soothing, perhaps a good desert beer. slightest oily vinegar aftertaste. if you need a beer to go with your ice cream, this is it.
