fluids (364), USA Jul 3, 2005 Cherry taste. Americanized version of a lambic. I don’t personally like the bitterness of lambics. This is softer more accessible. Highly recommend. NosirIwont (1162), Aalborg Vestby, Denmark Jul 2, 2005 Bottle. Brownish/red colour with a pink head. Intense cherry aroma. A bit soapy. Sour flavour. Cherry, obviously. Dry. Slight bitterness in the finish. Too artificial. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA Jun 19, 2005 Lots of champagne-like qualities in both the pour and mouthfeel. Super sweet candied cherry aroma is enticing. The body is overloaded with black cherry, leaving room for little else. As it warms, the candy cherry takes on a more cough syrup taste that I find disagreeable. Retorp (2154), Tampa, Florida, USA Jun 17, 2005 I know I’m probably in the closet, but I love all of Lindeman’s stuff and the Kriek is a personal favorite....though i like to mix it with stout. Tatse great and has a nice bubbly, happy mouthfeel. alaskanwarren (286), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 10, 2005 One of the best Krieks i’ve had, but probably not my favorite lambic style. Dark red with a slightly pink foam, the aroma is strong cherry. I like how tart it is without tasting particularly artificial. The bubbles are tiny, like a dry champagne. A great mouthfeel. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 10, 2005 Updated: Nov 19, 2005(Bottle 37,5 cl) Comes as "Foudroyante Kriek" - the name used by Lindemans on the French market. Very pretty, deep red colour with a lovely pink head. Pronounced cherry in the nose - apparently with no less than 25% fruit (both whole cherries and cherry juice). Rather sweet and cherry-flavoured with an underlying tartness from the Lambuc. Unfortunately also with artificial sweeteners and aroma. Shame on you. 260603
(Bottle 25 cl) As Lindemans Kriek: 7/4/7/3/14=14 240698 ogivlado (3036), Zagreb, Croatia Jun 7, 2005 Updated: Sep 7, 2007Bottled(375ml). -as Foudroyante Kriek, 3.5%ABV.
Ruby coloured, huge pale pink head, acidic cherry nose. Sourish cherry aroma with notes of yeast. Rather sour finish. Refreshing. Much better than Lindemans Kriek. Is this same beer like Lindemans??? I don’ think so!!!
Bottled(250ml). - not so good beer, tastes like sweet cherry syrup with tart flavor and unpleasant soury finish, my girl like this brew, but I don’t so this rating is going to be good only because of her.
FROTHINGSLOSH (1961), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 6, 2005 Updated: Jun 26, 2006I love the Lindemans lambics in general. I have had this one a couple of times over the years. Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle. this beer poured a bright red color with a small pinkish head. The aroma is strong sweet cherry. The flavor is tart with a sour cherry tang and a strong fruity cherry flavor. The mouthfeel is moderately thick. The finish is sweet and tangy.
