Apple and cherry juice in the aroma. The flavor is strong on the cherry with quite a bit of tartness. The flavor is essentially cherry juice and mildly sweet, rather odd for a beer but not bad on its own.

Good fruit beer, its more a woman drink, i am not that fruit beer drinker. Lindemans has probably the best fruit flavor beers in the world. Combination: flavor and aroma and taste.

Purchased at the LCBO and comes in a green bottle, with red foil around the cap, and underneath the cap is a cork (so long process to get to the brew). This Kriek pours a deeper-than-average red colour with a pink creamy head, great retention and decent lacing. Big cherry nose that reminds me of cherry cough medicine, with very slight notes of wood. Sweet start to the taste, moving into some nice sourness (always with the mild cherries) and finishing pretty quickly. Written "with black cherries added" and 3.5% ABV. on front of the label. Pretty good, for those who like light Kriek Lambics.

355 ml bottle - one of the prettiest looking beers I’ve had. Deep ruby red with a bright, thick pink head that lasts and lasts. Aroma mega cherry upfront with a sour from the lambic base showing itself at the end. Flavour is sour cherry juice to begin, then some earthy/slightly barnyardy quality and a dry finish. Seems more like juice than beer, and at 3.5% ABV, it nearly is. Fruit beers - not just for the ladies anymore.

Smells like Vick’s cough drops up front. Big cherry sweetness up front. Reasonably thick in the mouth with a sour finish. All in all a very interesting beer.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2011 375mL bottle from the Lickbow. Pours a nice clear ruby red with a large pink head. Aroma is an awesome blast of cherry with minor funk and woodyness. Flavour is very sweet upfront with the cherry juice, but met well with a good puckering tart sourness in the finish. Body is spritzy and highly effervescent. Subtle hints of wood and wild yeast. Very nice stuff, even if the purists may legitimately feel it’s somewhat artificial. Impressed some non-beer geeks with it.

Pours dark rose. Surprisingly thick/rose head. Aroma hints at something overly sweet. Some tartness as well. Taste is... Can you say, cherries? Sweet. Basically no acidity/sourness. The finish is very, very slightly bitter. Not bad, but why the juice? A good beer to start an evening.
