Dark red pour, fluffy pinck head. Big aroma of sweet juice cherries. Very very sweet, cough syrup even. Some light tartness, but way too much sugar. Its a same the light tartness really show some potential, this could be impressive if it wasnt for the bag of sugar in my glasss. This is a drink you order for the person who doesnt like "beer".

Looks very nice in my flute! Intensive aroma has lots of sugarish, sweet cherry – actually it is almost equal to cherry drops. Flavour is a bit sour and tart but ends in a very sweet way. Way too sweet and sugarish for me nowadays, but not bad still.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2011 25cl bottle in a pub in Sant Antoni de Calonge: Robinson Crusoe. It pours a hazy deep purple liquid with a minimum pinkish white head with very little bubbles that somehow manages to last throughout the beer but leaves no lacing. The aroma is syrupy, with cherries and a distant wheat; not very intense; reminds of candy sugar. It tastes likewise, but intenser, with more subtleties. It is rather sweet and low-medium sour; a very nice balance that makes this brew more attractive than other lambics. It is also subtly bitter. In the mouth it feels mild but lively carbonated, with a medium body; nice. It ends dry, with an sweet fruity aftertaste and a good touch of sourness. Pleasant light kriek with a classic but nice presentation. Very drinkable; a good choice.

Appearance: cloudy reddish pink, frothy pink head. No visible carbonation. Aroma: Strongly of cherries, as expected. Hints of grass, hay, sugar. Smells very sweet. Palate: Medium-bodied, smooth with a bit of a kick at the end. Nice finish. Taste: Very sour, as expected. Very sweet. Not bitter or salty at all. Not bad.

Bottle from K-Supermarket Kamppi. Originally rated on 9.11.2009. Sugary, tastes almost like a soda pop instead of a beer. Slightly sour taste.

Pours a beautiful deep red, also having an unusual red-tinted fluffy head. Smelled sweet and sour of cherries, more so on the sweet side with a hint of hops. The flavor was sour at first of ripe cherries, then came a nice tangy twist that reminded me of candy. Finished bright and sweet, with the generous carbonation leaving the mouth tangy and bitter. This one didn’t leave the mouth too dry, just a very satisfying rush of cherries.

355 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a vivid ruby red colour with modest-sized bright pink head. Aroma is strongly of candied, slightly sour cherry. Taste is also strong, sweet cherry with some sourness towards the finish. Decent but would get cloying to drink more than 1 in a sitting.

375ml bottle from the lcbo. pours deep red with a pink head. very nice sour cherry candy nose. the flavour is enjoyable but the sweetness is a little to high. slighly fake sour cherry candy feel diminishes drinkability. not bad for a sweetened lambic but not nearly as good as the real thing.
