Cherry red with an almost pink head. Aroma of cough syrup and cherry Twizzlers. Very fruity and flavorful with lively carbonation. Not much that makes it a beer in my books but tasty nonetheless. Not too tart. Would like to try their other flavors as well. suchen (81), , Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a deep syrupy red with pink tinged foam on top. Aroma is a mix between Twizzlers licorice and cough syrup. Flavor was fake-ish cherry, super tart bitter tang I’m guessing from the wild ferment, and very sweet sugar. Blegh. thejon375 (392), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 18, 2009 Red beer with a pink head. Aroma is that of sweet cherries. Flavour very sweet and siropy. I rated a bottle that has aged for 7 years. A lot of the sweetness has gone and it’s even a bit sour. Very drinkable as long as you’re patient enough. Otherwise it’s just like drinking sugarwater with cherry taste. (Bottle 25cl, corked bottle 37,5cl, corked bottle 75cl, tap (not aged ofcourse)) kevd193213 (486), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA

Aroma of sugar and cherries. Flavor dominated by cherries with some faint malt present. My first venture into lambics, not too shabby but need to weigh other offerings too. Nothing good compared to other Krieks. BOLTZ7555 (1070), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 28, 2009 Liquid cherry Ludens cough medicine with a hint of lemon drop. Rose colored brew with a small cotton-candy colored head. Aroma definitely exhibits an artificial cherry extract quality. Medium mouthfeel. Quite sweet for a Kriek. Frovigalning (404), , Sweden

Very rich and refreshing and I just want to take another sip. The only downside is the colour which looks a bit diluted. It also goes excellent with some truffels. I had it last night with some home made chocolate, porter and coffe ice cream and it fit perfectly as well. Try this with a dark chocolate dessert and you wont be dissapointed.
