Distinct cherry aroma with a marzipan like sweetness. There is an apple undertone. Flavour is dry and light sour on top of the fruitsweetness. A bit sweet lambic, but well balanced. Dry and refreshing fruity end. Has good lasting. A bit too sweet for my likings, but still a very good beer. MoritzF (5130), Bochum, Germany

This Kriek tastes exactly like some Danish cherry winegums (Haribos Kirsebær). My little sister would probably like it. pivnizub (5106), Bochum, Porúří, Germany
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 12, 2006 Bottle: Nearly artificially red coloured, lacing pink foam; strong sweet, almondy, fruity nose with a very sharp, sour touch; sweet flavour, light bodied, a bit sticky; sweet finish with some acidity and a faint tart aftertaste. Not unpleasant on hot summer days..................... yngwie (5089), Kristiansand, Norway

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 11, 2004 Sickeningly sweet cherry aroma bordering cough drops...Same body and dominance of sweetness as the Pêche, with the same bubbles who thankfully lighten the cloying sugar...Another pseudo-lambic, sugar prostitute... A nice strong head and a very sweet bouquet and aroma. Definitely worth a try if you like sweet tasting beers. JoeMcPhee (5056), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 5, 2004 Pink fading head over a gorgeous cloudy red beer. Smell of dark cherry, bitter almond, spiciness, and some flowers. Aroma is also very sweet. Flavour show intense sweetness, cherry, spice and a very faint sourness and other wild flavours. A tasty brew but tends to get treacly from the copious sweetness.
