3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
250ml Bottle. This ours a deep dark red body with a dark pink head. that soon fizzes away to leave virtually no lacing. Its aroma is exclusively dark/black cherry. Its taste is cherry with a sweet bitter and then sour (but not over powering) finish. Im really enjoying this beer.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pink head, strangely raspberry body. Cherries, almond, sugar, sour. Was expecting something even more sweet from them. Red Bull quality. Thanks for the aspartame, but I prefer oude krieks.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from bottle into sample glass: Pours purple-pink with a pink head. Smell is cherry syrup and a lot of sugar. Flavor is not at all tart, just cherry juice / soda. Note very good or kreik-like. Pretty medicinal. Medium body, maximum diabetes.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle.

Ruby color. Smells of fresh cherries. Sour taste of cherries. Becomes more pleasant on the aftertaste. Easy to drink for a lambic. Not so acidic.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
ABV 3,5%. Cherry red lambic with a pink head. A bit artificial cherry aroma - reminds of canned cherries. Taste is really sweet and a little tart. Cherry juice flavoured. Medium carbonation. Quite sticky mouth feel. Too sweet - it’s like liquid candy. Your teeth will fall off.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
I poured a 12oz bottle into the official Lindemans flute glass. It was bottled on 1/20/14 and cost $6.49 $0.54 per ounce).
Appearance: Beautiful shade of magenta/indigo. Pours to a large, pink, foamy head which laces and retains very well.
Smell: Cherry puree.
Taste: I’ve drank all the Lindemans brand of lambics and I’ve enjoyed them all equally for the same reason: they taste delicious. What’s not to like? The only catch, as is with all beers of the ballpark, is that it doesn’t really taste like traditional beer but more like a light bodied carbonated wine. Nothing in the way of true barley or hop character, which is understandable, though I can’t help but feel like I’m drinking an FMB.
The palette is pretty simple: cherry juice. Actually, it’s a combination of cherry, raspberry and strawberry flavors even though it’s only made with red cherries. Plenty of tartness, though it’s restrained. Some added sugar and “natural flavors” are in here I’m sure, though they aren’t faux or distracting, so the result is a well-balanced, authentic-tasting beverage.
Drinkability: Refreshing as juice, but much more satisfying. A perfect level of carbonation with a smooth finish and slightly tart/fruity aftertaste. Ideal with cheesecake, though it works perfectly fine on its own. The ABV is estimated somewhere between 3.5 and 4% which makes it ideal for sessioning (if only it were priced like a session beer rather than a gourmet indulgence).
