Nose of sweet alcoholic cherry candy! Huge pink head. Great taste with HUGE up front tart. Mellows out around half way through, then picks up its sour habits right before the end. Some what complex but the sweet and sour are almost over the top. Very good though.

Bottle. Sweet, cherry aroma with delicate champagne in the background. Beautiful red colour, clear with medium-high, pink head. Too sweet for me, witch makes this Kriek feel like Piccollo champagne for kids. The sweetness dominates the fruity side. Sourness barely noticeable, no wooden notes. Medium carbonated, low bodied. All in all, nothing special.

37.5cl shared bottle at home from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Nose is cherry bubble gum. Body is clear ruby, head is big, pink, frothy, mostly lasting, good lacing. Aroma is cherry, honey, molasses, biscuit. Medium sweet, medium sour. Finish is medium lasting frutiy biscuit medium sweet. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Easy fruity beer, bit too sweet for me, not my style but nice one.

Bottle, nine months before bbd. Pours clear dark red, with a big creamy, red head settling at two finger thickness. Aroma is sweet cherries, fruit candy, sugar and some wooden notes. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is cherry candy and white sugar, as well as some wood, and very light farmhouse and lactic notes. Maybe not exactly bad, but far too sugary and with the sweetness covering all the nice subtle complexity of lambic.

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2016 Pours a clear reddish pink on tap with bubbly pink white head that dissipates quickly to leave light lace. Aroma and taste of sweet cherry notes over light acidity. Super sweet, kind of syrupy, dessert lambic.

Slightly hazy red with almost no head. Aroma is bubblegum, sweet and sour cherry, cedar wood. Taste is very sour cherry with some carbonation induced sourness and some sugary fruity sweetness. Also some alcohol bitterness and warmth. Finish is more cedar wood. Mouthfeel is lemonade with a sour hinge. Ok.

Dam sweet, plenty of flavour, Could not drink more that a few due to the incredible sweetness.

I enjoyed this. Lots of cherry on the nose and pallet. Lots of fine carbonation. Nice head fades quick. Cherry juice prominent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
