4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 JagerQueen (123) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JAN 21, 2004
Very tasty! Poured a rich red, with pink head-aroma full of cherries. Flavor is all cherries, with a fizz to it that reminds one of sparkling wine. Sweet and tart-great Lambic for those who love fruit juice flavors.

Bottle: For its style it is very good, fresh sweet cherry taste with a slight bitterness and acidity. A great occasional beer.

I’ve been reading and hearing about lambics for years, just never tried one. Oh my, what I’ve been missing! Pours with a fizzy, yet solid head, and a wonderful ruby red color. If I did not know I was drinking a beer, I wouldn’t have guessed. In fact, I had my wife try it - she HATES beer - and she liked it! It took a while for me to notice the maltiness at the end. A really neat experience - don’t know that i could drink a lot at one sitting, but I think I’ve fallen in lust, uh I mean love, with this stuff. Makes me proud to be half Belgian!

Overwhelming cherriness! (That’s a good thing, because that’s what you were looking for... right?) Pours a hazy, deep cranberry color with a small PINK head. Syrupy cherry aroma, with a similar, lasting flavor. Slightly sour finish. Very nice, but for limited scenarios.

12 oz bottle poured a hazy ruby red with a small lasting dark pink head. Aromas of sour cherries. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of sour cherries, wood and and a hint of yeast with a crisp slightly tart lingering finish. Could stand to be more tart to be a proper lambic, but not bad.

Beutifull clear red with a huge pink foamy head. Very nice cherry aroma and flavor. Well balanced acidic notes and underlying hobs. Very fresh and enjoyable.

12 oz. Bottle. Pours dark red and has a medium red head. Has a strong smell of sweet cherries and what seems like almonds. The taste is more of a tart cherry flavor. Obviously this type of beer is not for everybody, but if you’re looking to try something different, this is a nice change of pace.
