Jun 5, 2007 Beutifull clear red with a huge pink foamy head. Very nice cherry aroma and flavor. Well balanced acidic notes and underlying hobs. Very fresh and enjoyable.

Mar 22, 2008 From the look of it it looks like a cherry champane with thin laceing along the sides of the glass with some spotted laceing along the sides. The nose is of strong cherry and some hints of hops. But the flavor is extreamly fruity with cherry and some bitter funk and has a sour patch tart sour finish. You can really taste the sour fruit along the sides of your tounge.

Jul 27, 2008 Like other raters claim, it does smell and taste like "Luden’s" cough drops! Very uncharacteristic of any beer I’ve tasted, thus far. Deep ruby pour with a pinkish medium head. Very sweet initial and finish with cherry following the whole way. Great Lambic!

Feb 21, 2009 Pours a rich dark red with a three finger pink head and copious lacings. Aroma is very potent black cherry. Taste is like the most delicious black cherry soda you can imagine. The flavor is very full and sweet and it is hard to believe this has any alcohol at all. Easy drinker with no faults but doesn’t taste much like beer at all. Excellent desert choice IMO and not one to swill. Sip it with a meal and enjoy those immense flavors.

Jun 14, 2009 Lovely, glassful of cherries. Not really anything I can add to the description in your mind. I wish the alcohol was higher. It’s not as sour as the Framboise... Has lots of body to support such a strong flavor. Good stuff.

Jul 17, 2009 I drank this from the bottle into a chalice. The bottle is capped but has a cork.
When I poured it poured a bright red, almost like hawaiin punch, but as it settled it was a dark blood red color. There was about a finger high pink head that disappated quickly. There is little lacing.
It smells very sweet, cherries are dominant, almost like cherry cough drops.
It tastes as sweet as it smells with again cherries dominating. WHat made this kriek great was the great sour note at the end.
Overall, a very good lambic.
