(Re-rate)Cherry colour clear, with pale pink medium size shortish lasting head. Luscious, somewhat artificial, mostly cherry sweet and some unripe fruit sour aromas. Medium thin body but clean crisp body with decent sour start, sour and slightly stronger sweet middle and sweetish dry finish. Refreshing and defintely tasted better the second time around (First rated 6/20/2002)

This one ended an evening of drinking with my brother-in-law, and was a colossal taste treat. Intense cherry aroma and big pink head were fun to behold even before the first sip. The anticipated taste experience didn’t disappoint either---sweet cherry bursts followed by lambic tartness---finish a curious sweet-dry, not unlike that of sweet vermouth. This is not for everyday consumption, but is a great occasional dessert.

Beautiful bright cherry color. Wonderful bouquet of barnyard, and sweet cherries. The palate is sweet and fruity. Very good. A dessert beer.

A nice Kriek that is stronger in cherry aroma than some others. Very nice mix of sweet, sour and brettanomyces taste combined with the ripe cherry. Not a session beer but a refreshing beer on a hot summer afternoon when you want something different.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2004 Fluffy pink-white head sits delicately on top of turbulent rose coloured beer, almost champagne like in appearance. Strong smell of cherries. Huge cherry nose, more sour than sweet. Rather dry finish. Very refreshing.

One of the best Lindeman’s. Never been one that liked cherry flavoured stuff, but considering this is *real* cherry, amazing! Very sweet and tart, pretty much all cherry as would be expected, slightly yeasty as well. Appearance is very deep burgundy, with a pink-red foamy head. Definitely don’t drink it too cold!

Like drinking a cherry candy. Love the way it looks too, fruit punch red. First siop is very tart, fasdes quick after second. Malty and refreshing, like punch with sorbet in it.

A 750 ml bottle costing $9.45 at the North Coast Coop in Eureka, CA. Poured a beautiful red color with a pink head that lasted a long time and left wonderful lacing. Big nose of cherry and a touch of yeast.. Mouthfeel is thick and rich, with remarkable smoothness. Flavor is of cherry of course, with a small bit of tartness underlying the sweetness that stays all the way to the finish. An outstanding example of its type.

An old favourite of mine, this rather dark red beer is fairly sweet, with just enough tartness to please. Too sweet for some lambic fans, I think it’s just brilliant. Plus three seperate others have confessed their love for it after one sip I gave them.

Test vom 8.3.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,13,12,13,14,13 - 12,60
