Poured out a brilliant ripe cranberry color, with a fizzy reddish head on it. Very effervescent, almost champagne like in nature. Aromas right off the bat are of sour cherries, lambic sour yeast, and slight cheesy hops.
Color is excellent, clarity is wonderful. Slight sourness to the taste, seeing how it is a lambic, no surprize there. Sweet & sour battle it out for dominacy, but balanced in the end. Even my wife like it, so it must be a great beer. Wish I had a keg full of it. Finishes sweet, with a slight sout tang in it as well. A really great beer, all in all. It’s an excellent after dinner or dessert beer. I could drink this every day. It smells fruity, it tastes a little sweet, but that’s why you wouldn’t want to drink it with a meal. It’s a nice color. It’s just an all around excellent beer. SudsMcDuff (1842), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

Amazing pink frothy head, with a rich cherry colour. Superb sherbetty flavour, with a perfect balance of sweetness and restrained cherry flavour. Black cherry and yoghurt notes - the best kriek thus far. asturnut (8), USA does not count | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | Aug 14, 2005 This is a great cherry beer for non-beer drinkers (dare I say a lady’s drink?). It will remind non-beer drinkers of a wine cooler, but with much better mouth feel and more complex flavor. It is very fruity and sour cherry comes through strongly. It is very refreshing. I really like it, although I like the raspberry (frambois) made by Lindemans a bit more. roomtempbeer (185), Franklin, Pennsylvania, USA

Beautiful appearance. Don’t know a lot about the style, or to what standards this type of beer should adhear to, but as far as being a palatable drink, this certainly is one. And with the added bonus of alcohol content, makes this a suitable drink for any occation. Almost a tie between this and the raspberry. But the raspberry wins. Otherwise, a nice beer. It comes out a beautify red color with almost no head. The cheery aroma and taste are wonderful and leaves the palate clean. Nothing better on a warm summer evening.
