I used my Chimay Goblet for the tasting. Slightly malty, no hoppy flavor, however instead of a subtle sweetness from the cherries, it was tart, quite tart. I’m going to explore the world of lambics a bit more and perhaps rerate this. Jayb0 (752), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA

Sweet fruit up front quickly balanced by a slight sourness and hop spice. Clean, dry finish leaving a pleasing bit of cherry sourness. Perhaps a bit too effervescent. Delicious but I prefer the Lindemans Cassis. The New Glarus Cherry is superior. Wakie (612), Centreville, Virginia, USA

Very flowery aroma that was rather pleasing. You need to really enjoy lambics and cherry flavoring to get this one. If you’re getting a Lindeman’s though I’d stick w/ the raspberry. jpknight22 (171), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

Reminds me of a champagne cocktail on steroids. Descriptions are one thing, but you really have to experience this to understand it. I’ll be able to say more once I experience the rasberry and peach variations. softale (188), Michigan, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 3, 2002 Ruby colored with a fluffy pink head. Nose is of cherries and the typical lambic ’horse-blanket’ variety. It is a bit too sweet, but you gotta love a beer that’s fermented naturally with wild yeast strains, I don’t care if you call me Mr. fufu. It’s an enjoyable brew, not quite as good as the Framboise (because I’m partial to raspberries) but it’s certainly worth a try if you’re contemplating it. GregClow (2516), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Strong cherry aroma with hints of malt and red wine. Flavour starts very sweet - almost cloying - but it turns pleasantly tart towards the finish. Not an everyday beer, but on this hot summer night, it's going down very nicely. crazyvin (1255), New York, USA

It has a sweet taste that gives way to a tart aftertaste
