It pours a bright red with a medium pink head The aroma is very much so upfront tart/sweet cherry (again, its a cherry lambic) and maybe some oak aroma. The flavor is sweet/tart cherry as well with some spicy bite to it. The palate is that wonderful champagne feeling, that small bubble light carbonation that dances across your mouth and down your throat and lets you know that you can feel your stomach. The finish is carbonated and sweet. smcd (366), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 14, 2006 Aroma of cherries. Nice, deep, ruby red appearance. Flavor is good -- again of cherries, almost artificial, and bitter in the back-end. Some sourness with a lactic acidity just undercover. Fine palate for a lambic. Pour a nice red with a slightly pink red, with dark sediment, fairly clear. Nice tastes of cherry, with great sour notes, and a very dry and delicious finish. Very good natural cherry taste. Very light mouth feel with decent carbonation of very small bubbles. Good brew, appears to nicely follow the style. JB175 (1665), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA

Cherry taste is smooth and sweet, perhaps a bit too sweet. I should have had this late in the evening instead of first, but still very tasty! Mutualaid (139), Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 11, 2008 Pours a dark, dark purplish red with a creamy pink head. Aromas of, surprise, cherries. In the mouth it’s cherry soda up front, a bit of straw or grain husk with a nice tartness in the middle, and a surprising bitterness in the end. Light fizzy body with a syrupy feel going down. Long tart finish. A fine sipping beer but I wouldn’t drink this after mowing the yard. tomer (382), Rishon Le Zion, Israel
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 5, 2008 0.25L bottle. Murky pinkish red colour, strong cherry aroma with just a touch of spice, strong carbonation. Cherry flavour with just a little tartness, the cherry sweetness is balanced by good acidity and just a touch of bitterness.
The beer is excellently balanced. jredmond (1090), New Jersey, USA

Aroma is strong cherry with slight funk. Taste is not as overpowering as expected, however the cherry is of course the dominant flavor present - coupled with very light yeast notes. Very subtle tartness present towards the finish. Retro42 (18), St Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 1, 2007 Smelled like cherries, almost to the point of "Starburst" or other candy. Red color suits it well. Very sweet cherry that leaves a thick syrupy taste on your tongue. I could see having it after dinner but it’s nothing too notable.
