Nearly overpowering cherry taste and aroma. It’s not unpleasant, but it completely overpowers other components. Tart and refreshing. Not bad for a (very) occassional change of pace. Might be a good choice for people who aren’t huge fans of more traditional beers.

From 25 cl bottle. Aroma is sweet cherries and tiny sour. Pours clear red with pink head. A small head is lasting. Taste is heavy sour and sweet. Some bitterness in there too. Sweet finish. Thick sweet body and average carbonation.

My label was different so I’m making an educated guess that this is what I had. This is not only the first fruit beer I have ever liked but this is also a fruit beer that blew me away. Great sparkling fruit juice like lambic with incredible tart cherry flavor, and I don’t even like cherries. Im certain Belgians are the only ones who can do fruit beer. I feel bad in a way giving it this high of a rating considering it barely resembles a beer & is more like a sparkling fruit juice but it is very good, light, refreshing and kinda girly but I like it!

25 cL bottle at home. Pours hazy red with a medium pink head. Aroma is quite sweet with syrup, some cherries, lemonade, candy and sugar. Taste is also sweet and sugary with some cherry syrup. Medium body and soft carbo. More a soda than a proper kriek.

250 ml botle @ Fox and hound, Aabenrå. Clear ruby red body with a moderate sized, lacing pink head. Strong aroma of sweet cherries with a hint of almond. Flavor is acidic and sweet, mostly sweet, lots of sweet cherry with some almond. It might not be artificial cherry, but sure the flavor is from juice and not much fermented cherries here. To sweet and sticky, this has not much to do with real kriek. Somehow drinkable as a desert or sweet sauce as there at least are some the acidic present.

Drank from a bottle at home. Tastes strongly like cherry juice. Maybe a bit too sweet. The colour is nice!

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes rötliches Bier mit pinker Schaumkrone. Geruch süß nach Kirschen. Geschmack sehr frucht süß nach Kirschen, leicht säuerlich.

Bottle. Pours dark red with a pink head. In aroma sweet cherries, hint of acid notes. In taste sweet cherry, medium sour and light bitter. Very nice and refreshing beer.

Bottle. Hazy dark red-purple pour with receding bright pink head. Aroma is intensely sweet cherry, almond, cherry syrup, jam. Taste is super sweet, a bit cloying, very much like drinking a cherry soft drink: sweet, carbonated, no alcohol and no acidity. As far as drinking soda goes, this is great soda - I’d love to see it on the fountain at McDonald’s. Not quite such a great beer though.

Finally a lambic again! Lots of hints of marzipan and almonds in this great aroma, and the taste is loaded with red berries, sourness, a touch of warming bitterness, and in total great balance!
