2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Foxbush (704) - Richmond, USA - OCT 11, 2009
This not my type of beer. It is a cherry flavored Lambic. The sweet beer lacks the bitterness that I enjoy. The Kriek poured a deep cherry red with a pinkish frothy head. This was a christmas gift that waited in the refrigerator until I was ready. The spontaneous fermentation is a fascinating method of making beer.

While I have had other beers with a cork stopper, this was the first one that I needed a cork-screw to open. Pour was nice cherry with a thin pink head. The aroma was cherry cough syrup. Luckily the taste was far better than the scent. A tart cherry drink that gets better with each swallow while leaving substantial lacing on the glass. What a delight.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 kevinsenn (182) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 10, 2012
375mL bottle from LCBO. Pours clear ruby red with a cotton-candy pink head. Has the slight cough-syrup aroma one would expect from a cherry beer. But the similarities with cough-syrup stop there; unlike other cherry beers, this one does not taste like cough-syrup. Sweet cherries up front, with a tangy tart finish; very tasty!

Very good. The nose is cherry syrup and tartness. The beer is deep red with a pink head which leaves long lacing. The taste is a wonderful tart cherry. The body is medium thin with just the right tart smack. Good.
4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 SPDickerman (325) - Texas, USA - FEB 6, 2012
Pours fizzy dark pink with a large light pink head. Smells exclusively of cherries. Taste follows the nose perfectly; cherries with a hint of maltiness and slight tartness. Light-bodied with a prickly texture and lots of carbonation; Lindemans Kriek with a slight astringency and fruitiness.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Prokroustis (361) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - FEB 5, 2012
Dark red body with a great pink head. Very nice aroma of fresh cherries and sour cherries. Sweet, refreshing flavour with cherries.

Red pour with hints of blue, white head and lace. Aroma is huge sour cherries. Starts out with the sour cherry goes to a tart then fades to a flat dried cherry almost stale flavor. Medium bodied with aggressive carbonation. A beer I really like and could drink all the time. Very nice

0,375l bottle from Belgium as gift. A very old one, I’ve got it years before. That’s why I can feel the aroma of the cork. By the way it’s a nice fruity one. Light claret color with pink head. Sweet cherry odor. Cherry aroma with a little grain. Medium cherry sour taste, like the fruit. I like it, when I can feel the taste of the fruit and the sugar doesn’t desturb it. Light body with soft carbonation and slick texture. Long sour-sweet cherry finish.
