Tart cherry cough drop aroma. Flavor is sweet cherry with a tart finish. Not something you’d want every day, but pretty enjoyable when you’re in the mood for something different.

750 ml bottle. Mahogany red color. Small creamy light pink color. Tart cherry nose. Tangy yeasty cherry fruit flavor is quite refreshing. Sour dough bready flavor is quite unique. My favorite of the Lindeman fruit lambics.

25cl Bottle. Appearance: . a dark ruby with a frothy pink head. Aroma: sweet cherries and yogurt. Taste sweet Cherries with a little sourness and some tanine in the back. Dominant sweet Cherries, a bit too sweet, but still good. medium, syrupy body, average carbonation.. Allthough too sweet there is enough quality there.

37.5cl bottle. 08 Sep 2016. I was trying to think of how I would describe the colour and the obvious answer is that it’s cherry coloured. Tall, frothy pink head which lasted well and left some lovely Brussels lace. Powerful aroma of black and sour cherries. Reminds me of a cherry starburst. Medium sweetness and a pleasant tartness. Medium-full bodied, smooth, spritzy, sticky and a lip-smacking tart finish. Delicious. 9.

Aroma: what else to expect than cherry? As cherry has intense aroma nothing else comes through for me. Appearance: red, hazy, minimal head, taste: medium sweetness, heavily sour. Palate: light body, thin feel, lively, abrupt finish.

355 mL foilded bottle poured. Pours a dark red color with a huge foamy pink head. Sweet wet cherry aroma. I don’t know. I guess I’m a suckered for these super sweet, cherry pie filling flavored beers. I love them. So easy to drink, and so full of fruit flavor. Enjoyed this like all the others. Good beer.

Not really my glass of beer, but this is a pretty decent oddity of the brewing world, and one I would serve to friends for a change of pace. Note to hop-heads... "the presence of cherries (or raspberries) predates the almost universal use of hops as a flavoring in beer". So perhaps we have the Ur-Beer here? Too bad they add the sugar, though (or the stevia, I believe). Still attempting to master pouring beer into a thistle glass, which all too often results in a glass full of foam!

Un vrai goût de cerise dans votre verre c'est ce que promet cette splendide lambic. Avec la pécheresse ma bière fruitée préférée. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
