Rating lambic is kinda stupid.. every barrel is different anyway... nevertheless. This one was my personal best at WoSf 29/5/12. Very rich kriekenlambiek, quite able to take on any high class burgundy. sticks to the glass awesomly... a lovely beer!

On draught at the 21st Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation. Pours a ruby colour with no head. Aroma of cherries, lemon, almonds and oak. Similar flavours and fairly tart with a very dry, tannic finish. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel with lovely lingering almonds. Very nice.

Überaus fruchtiger Geruch, schon etwas zu süß in richtung Kirschmarmelade gehend. Auch im Antrunk fruchtig, hier aber wenigr stark als erwartet. Dabei auch trocken zimtig, was einen muffigen Störfaktor darstellt. Von nun an wässriger und deutlich weniger fruchtig, das störende Aroma ist abgeschwächt weiter vorhanden. Zum Ende bitterer. Nicht unbedingt spitze. 11/7/8/7//7

@WSF. Opaque cherry purple, flat. Aroma is yeasty, some bacteria, wood, and rotting cherries. Flat palate. Flavors beat the aromas. Are Pure Cherry, very nice.
