kiefdog (1534), Tampa, Florida, USA Dec 14, 2008 33cl bottle from Willow Bend Liquors (Tampa, FL). Pours a crystal clear golden color with thin bubbly white head. Lively carbonation but little head retention. Aroma is sweet, nectar, peaches, ripe fruit. Flavor is sweet, syrupy, tart, overripe peaches, some slight wood notes. As it warms, there are more pronounced sour flavors. Generally medium body with tart finish. drfabulous (1211), Columbia, Missouri, USA Nov 27, 2008 Lots of syrup and sweetness. Basically the raspberry but peach. Minimal sour. Not my style douglas88 (1555), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Nov 26, 2008 Bottle bought a few months ago at the State Liquor Store. I have to be in the right mood to enjoy this, and it was pretty nice. Pours out a initially quite large white head that goes down to almost nothing. A beautiful clear copper body. The aroma is...well what do you expect peaches, both sweet canned kinds and a more natural tart kind. The taste was similar; it leaned towards a sugary sweet peach flavor, but some balance is achieved by a more tart flavor. Fizzy and highly carbonated. Not bad at all.
polomagnifico (531), Saginaw, Michigan, USA Oct 25, 2008 bottle. Aroma of peaches, dust, yeast, and sour malts. Clear light amber orange hue with an average sized foamy off-white head that diminished and life some some lace. flavor is sweet, acidic, and tart. Palate is light bodied and lively carbonated. Vary good tasting but with an ABV of 2.5% what’s the fracking point! CptGreencoat (68), Kettering, Ohio, USA Oct 20, 2008 Updated: Mar 12, 2009Bottle. Pours to a very opaque gold with a thin, short lived bleached-white head. The nose is candy peach and nothing more. Wonderful aromas of apricot, peach preserves, rock candy, and perfumy flowers. Syrupy mouthfeel with lots of effervecense. Sweet taste with sugestions of peach gummy candy, dried citrus fruit. Satisfying medium finish with hints of sweet ueasty malt and acidic citrus zest. FatPhil (3442), Espoo, Finland Sep 26, 2008 375ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam)
Deep hazy orange, healthy head. Slightly drying peachy aroma. Slightly sharp sourness, but also slightly sticky sweetness too. Pretty subtle peachiness, but definitely noticeably fruity. Slightly aged and woody, almost corky, too - perhaps even fusty. Perhaps too sweet, but very very tasty, and slips down very nicely indeed.
