Lindemans Pêche Lambic (Pêcheresse)

This is ok, but Lindeman’s Raspberry is MUCH better. I didn’t really taste peach at all.

Pours a hazy golden with a quickly disappearing white head. In fact, it ends up almost headless, but does leave some lacing. Doesn’t appear very carbonated, but upon closer inspection small bubbles are noticeable. Since this is capped with a crown cap and cork, I expected more carbonation (and head). Aroma is sour, woody and with only the slightest sense of peach. Taste, however is peach-sweet, low carbonation, low bitterness and very clean. Not nearly as sour as the Cantilon Gueze I’ve had. Tastes like a sparkling peach-juice. Refreshing and nice, but not very beer like.I will, however, be trying the other Lindemans Lambics after this, my first fruit Lambic.

on tap at 1702 nice white head on top of deep golden beer. aroma is sweet and fruity. flavor is slightly tart but mostly very sweet. big peach flavor, but not true lambic in style. tastes good though.

Deep golden color......fluffy head. Very fruity aroma of peaches. Somewhat of a sweet peach taste up front......slightly crisp mouthfeel. A solid tartness hits in the back......finishes with a sweet peach flavor. A very bold lambic in contrast to the light nature of a peach.

Hazy orange with a low head. The flavours are first and foremost peach (quite distinct in fact). A very sweet flavour makes the lambic taste like a sweetened fruit juice. It’s very refreshing, but I have the feeling that I’m drinking something sticky, sugary without any real peach in it. But perhaps I’m just paranoid.

Some weak cover mild carbonation,light gold coloured drink.Aroma perfumed peach.hopiness,musky.Flavour peach ooh la la!! wow what a mouthfull,musky ,slight bitter,a touch of sourness,good body.Finish bitter/sweet lasting taste.

Honestly, I’m not sure why anyone thought this was a good idea. Don’t take my rating too seriously; it is based on exactly one bottle, and I am unwilling to drink more even in the name of science.
