Naka (524), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 29, 2008 Pours a clear slightly orange-ish amber with a thick foam for a head. About 2 fingers. A little lacing as well. The aroma is a mineraly medicinal fruit with just a hint of that great lambic funk. Very strong flavor of sweet peaches. More like the syrup in canned peaches than the fresh fruit. A good yeasty sourness to balance out the sweetness. Finishes with a bit of a dry feeling. The mouthfeel is nice with a very spritzy carbonation and a refreshing medium body. BoBoChamp (1328), Gent, Belgium Jul 21, 2008 25cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, easy to drink fruit beer (peaches), not complex, sweet, cloudy, nearly no head, nothing special, too sweet Butters (1614), Tennessee, USA Jul 20, 2008 Shared with my wife on our 1 year anniversary. Pours a clear burnt yellow color with thin white head and decent lacing. Aroma has a hint of sourness, clean and fruity. Flavor is incredibly sweet, like fruit juice concentrate. Lots of peach notes, with just a twinge of sour. Body is like champagne, very high carbonation. Not as good as I recalled, but still tasty. boto (1318), Granby, Connecticut, USA Jul 19, 2008 25cl bottle from the Carrefour: This one pours a cloudy, golden color. There was a small white head on it, but still had quite a bit of bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass. The aroma is peaches, but not overly strong. I also get a whiff of apricots too. The taste is interesting. Peaches dominate, with little else discernable. The sweetness is subdued, or else I would think I was drinking a peach soda. Not bad, but I’m not sure of the point of this one. The word "Lambic" is on the bottle, but I think that is a bit of a stretch. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA Jul 18, 2008 Bottle. Yellowish orange color. Sweet, too sweet. Peachy tasting. A little bit of sourness, but not enough. Drinkable, yes. Not the best beer I have ever tasted.. carruthm (1104), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 8, 2008 peaches and also some other light citurs elements both in aroma and taste. like all other lindeman’s I enjoy it as a one-off. renffisch (489), london, Greater London, England Jun 29, 2008 bottle at the rake, simonas fourth. orange, hazy in colour, no head. Sweet gentle peach aroma.very impressed since it actually taste of peaches rather than a sugary artifical version of it. Taste just like a fresh french white peach just before it peaks. quite impressed. hellbilly (1492), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Jun 27, 2008 i was making milkshakes with this at work so i figured... pale gold pour with brownish tints and a thin tan head that fades quickly to a ring with some spotty lacing. the aroma is a bit musty... like a damp cellar mixed with cooked yellow peaches, earth, minerals/stone and pale malts. the palate is a bit sweet but not cloying. definite fresh juicy yellow peaches in the flavor along with wood, funky lambic dryness, a touch of white mold and light tartness. finishes dry. medium to full body, slick and sticky. this is the best of the fruits from lindemans.
