Lindemans Pêche Lambic (Pêcheresse)

Light peach color with an ample white head. Cloudy and very effervescent. Aromas of canned peaches, no sign of wildness in this beer. Taste is pretty much carbonated peach juice with a smidgeon of tartness. Tastes somewhat artificial. Very bubbly and drinkable, makes a great dessert beer.

Poured into a large snifter with a thin head and a cloudy orange color. The aroma was rather strong and full of fruity esters and some hints of spice and clove. The flavor is very rich but the peach does not overwelm your palate that much. It has a nice initial bitterness but that fades the more you drink the beer.

Jan. 2007 - Pour was pale peach color with some serious peach aroma...but more like peach juice. The flavor was that of a sparkling peach juice with a touch of lambic horseblanket funkiness. I’m not sure these lambics are really growing on me...but this one was way too sweet. Not nearly as good as the cassis.

tap, clear golden goodness. Pronounced taste of peaches (surprise!) with good length, not cloying or overpowering. Nice dessert.

Pours a wonderful clear golden yellow with a small white head that leaves great lacing on my glass. Very fruity aroma, but subdued in its initial sweetness. Some honey mixes in between the peach. Okay mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, rather sweet - but no too much, there is a little tarty bite to it. It sure sticks to my teeth.

Pours golden with a short lived white head. Sparkling and peachy. Tastes very light and very good! I like it even more than the Kreik.

750ml bottle. Pours a hazy light orange color with a white head and a fizzy body. The aroma akin to sour peaches. The flavor is peach, with a tartness to it. Extremely easy to drink with little to know alcohol presence (2.5% wow!)

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a white head and nice lacing. Aroma is peaches, yeast, and a hint of grain. Taste is much of the same but, it’s a little more tart than the smell indicates. Another good beer from Lindemans that I will continue to enjoy.
