A golden peach lambic with a sparkling appearance and fruity taste.

0.25L bottle. Fruity, peach aroma. Sweet peach juice flavour. Stronger carbonaiting fits good with this drink. Low bitter finish. Weird.

375ml bottle. it had been a while since i had drunk a lindemans beer until i had this a couple of days ago on a day trip to Belgium. Bought it from Delhaize supermarket opposite Bierhalle Deconinck whilst waiting for it to reopen at 2pm. Unwrapped the foil.. Oh shit it’s corked AND capped. Being a tight git, I refused to pay 5 euros for a corkscrew in Delhaize so I embarked on a 30 minute struggle to push the cork into the bottle. Finally managed it without having to pick apart the cork. Aaaaanyway, it was definitely worth the wait. Chose it in the first place as I was driving so 2.5% seemed a good choice and better than a bottle of water. Poured a clear yellowish amber - I guess peachy yellow with lots of bubbles. Aroma is undoubtedly peaches. Quite syrupy smelling. Taste is really nice. Subtle peaches, medium carbonation, rather sweet. I really enjoyed this. Maybe it was made better by the struggle to get into the bottle?

25 cl bottle from Wine of Galilee (€ 1.90). Nice golden colour with minimal cloudiness; head off-white and brief. Nose is quite delicate peach, sugary. Taste similar, with a very sugary peach flavour dominant, and a tingle of fruity tartness in the finish. An easy-drinker despite the thick, slightly syrupy sticky texture - the carbonation fortunately helps cut through that. I’m really no fan of peach but this beverage sure surprises me - I quite like it, and can imagine all sorts of occasions to buy it again without hesitation.

bottle sample, clear yellow to a somewhat amber colour, very sweet peach, apricots, chemical sweetness, where is the tartness? peach sweetness everywhere, this has nothing to do with a lambic style. big shame to put that style on the bottle!!
