Clear yellow-orange color with thin white head. Smells of honey, peaches, and malt. Sweet with peach and malt flavors. A bit too sweet for me, but a good beer. joshuah (37), Ferndale, Michigan, USA

Great , calm nose. Great subtle peach taste, and nice sour finish. Love it. GarrettB (494), Seattle, Washington, USA

It’s distinctive amrbosia is called the Pecheresse. Dare I call this a beer? Yes, but no. The light and somewhat lackluster satisfied orange/brown color looks to be a fruit juice, but shows some beerish strains when the imagination is cued. The smell is like an angel’s sandal; what do I catch but the sweet scent of clover honey and honey comb, with the obvious peach instilled through the brew. And upon the tongue there is a restrained sugary sweetness with a floating peach touch, and a mouth feel that swirls around the teeth and down the throat. I know this is a beer, but I don’t think of beer when I sip it. No, its liquid magic, genteel and refined, and I want more. Forget dramatic deaths and exaggerated treachery. If I ever experience a Greek moment of catharsis it will be channeled through this Ambrosia: Lindeman’s Peche Lambic – a tumble from greatness, drowned in a glass of delicious peach flavored beer. xproudfoot (729), Paleolithic, Pennsylvania, USA

The pecheresse seemed to me more peachy, fruity. Flavor is more sharp, like biting a sour apple version of peach. It really didn’t seem the same as the Peche. henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 25, 2005 The bottle poured a hazy light yellow beverage with a small white creamy head that was mostly lasting and left good lacing on the glass. The aroma was fairly simple, displaying caramel malt and a quite noticeable peach presence as you might expect. It had a medium body with soft carbonation and a creamy texture which was somewhat surprising ... I was expecting dryness. The flavor started off moderately sweet and continued sweet throughout the long finish. JohnnyFlake (53), Henderson, Nevada, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 24, 2005 12oz bottle - Pours a very hazy orangish color with a yellow hue. There is no head to speak of and no lacing. The aroma is more that of apricot and cherry than of peach, at least for me, with hints of peach and a funky sourness. Flavor is more peach than in the aroma and sweet, with nuances of pineapple and apricot. Mouthfeel is fizzy, light and clean, if that makes sense. Aftertaste is sweet with strong hints of peach but it doesn’t last very long. This is certainly different and okay now and then but I could never drink very much of this at any given time. rudolf (1744), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 16, 2005 Slightly cloudy yellow gold body, thin champagne head. Peachy apricot up front with a definite sour (Brett?) thing. Strawberries/cherries and a little oak. Sour, funk and cherries disappear as it warms and the nose becomes apricot syrup. Flavor is peach/pear/apricot syrup. Slightly mediinal. There is lambicy funk going on with oak and brett but for the most part this is candy. mkgrenwel (420), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA

Nice combo of sweet fruit and dry, crisp and refreshing effervescence. Nothing really complex or groundbreaking. This is a good beer if you’re into this style, but I can’t imagine ever craving one. The funny thing is I bought this for my mom, thinking it might be a beer she would actually enjoy, but she hated it. Go figure.
