(Rating #244) Maddog (231), Kettering, Ohio, USA Jul 25, 2005 I absolutely love the tartness and sourness in this beautiful lambic. The presence of peach in the flavor and color is not overpowering. Unbelieveably refreshing and tasty. A wonderful dessert or anytime beer. Had this one on draft at the Falling Rock in Denver. roder60 (1019), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 23, 2005 Pours a light pink orange color with a small amount of white head and tons of carbonation. Aroma very sweet and citrusy and of course, peachy. Flavor is sweet and juicey, strong peach flavor, and a citrusy taste that reminds me of mixing juice with champagne. Overall, this was my first lambic and I found it very enjoyable. I wish the abv was up a bit which would have given it a nice warming sensation. AmazonMatt (284), Panama Jul 17, 2005 Pours with a white head that lingers, the beer is an amber orange color. Aroma is peach, citrus and cream.
Taste is well balanced between the peach and the fresh wheat beer, with decent, not overbearing sweetness. Another winner.
Retorp (2154), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 16, 2005 Again I run the risk of being thought insane, but to me this smells like peaches. Cloudy yellow with a firm nickel thick head. Ok so this tastes like peaches with a bit of carbonation at the end and while I am suprised as the next guy it is still the case. And it actualy tastes really good. Ok so it is really sweet, but it is peaches man and that is good. I would give this to my kids if I had them at 2.5% it won’t do anything, but gibe them an appreciation for the craft. Lindeman’s just does it right. zathrus13 (1288), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA Jul 15, 2005 Pours orange, with a white head. Aroma is peach and earth. Flavor is sweet peach, that turns tart. not bad, and rather interesting overall Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA Jul 5, 2005 Updated: Jan 19, 2006Golden yellow with no head. Lots of vinegar and peach in aroma, but somewhat yeasty/musty smelling. Very syrup-like body. Flavor is all peach, which I love, with a musty farmhouse type character in the finish. No carbonation which I don’t mind to much either. Could score better, bot still a very easy drink.
