kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia Jun 4, 2005 Orange with a white head. Mild tinned peach aroma. Sweet but balanced peache flavour, with a slight tart finish. Quite thin in mouthfeel. Refreshing though. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA Jun 1, 2005 Corked & caged bottle. Filtered light gold color with a small head. Aroma is both tart and sweet peach. Taste is smooth as hell without being too sweet. Balanced perfectly, there’s nothing not to like here. The light tartness cuts through the peach easily so it’s not like drinking peach syrup at all. Really good. hezron (600), Viroqua, Wisconsin, USA May 31, 2005 Aroma of musty peach and wood with some sweat. Pale, cloudy yellow with a n off-white head, thin but lasting. Good sweet peach and caramel flavor with some sourness and a little twang to it. Creamy, almost dry palate, just a little too sweet. JK (2944), Richfield, Minnesota, USA May 30, 2005 Updated: May 31, 2005Light peach color. Very sweet, but there is peach, wheat, and yeast in the flavor, along with a little lambic sourness. Not as sweet as the raspberry. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA May 29, 2005 Murky, flax colored with little head. Tart, peach barnyard aroma. Very sweet and musky in flavor. The flavor reminds me of what rotting houses in a wet climate smell like. I swear I’ve been in places in Portland that smell like this tastes. Maybe wet wood is a better description. Strong peach flavor with some ash also. Light in body with no bitterness. The Lamic element is not very prominent. 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA May 24, 2005 Bottle. Going against the grain here. I found nothing enjoyable about this fruity pseudo-lambic. The sweet peach aroma just overwhelms the base lambic aroma. Sugar water palate. Far to sweet to make a balance with the natural tartness of a lambic. KariCupcake (214), Lenox, Massachusetts, USA May 22, 2005 Had in Paris. It sure was peachy. Sweet and peachy. Oh, and fruity (which is peachy...is this 75 letters yet?) Pailhead (2572), Allen Park, Michigan, USA May 22, 2005 Bottle: Peach aromas with no lambic qualities there. Pours a transparent gold with a small white head. Flavor is all sweet peach. There is minimal tartness if any at all. Sweeter than even the kriek or framboise due to lack of tartness. This should fall under the fruit beer category as opposed to a lambic. It is drinkable and refreshing which is suprising to me since I’m not a peach fan.
