Dorwart (1807), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA Jan 11, 2005 Decent frothy white head. Light carbonation. Reduces pretty quickly. Slightly cloudy peach/amber in color. Fruity aroma with peaches, pears and a hint of spruce. Reminds me of a very fresh cut christmas tree. Soft in the mouth. Light fruit flavor with more peaches. Little sweet with very little sourness. Very slightly tart finish with a bit of a pasty aftertaste. Very easy drinking and a good thirst quencher. A decent lambic. alaskanwarren (286), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 9, 2005 Pours light golden orange, slightly cloudy, with a white head. Smells like peaches. Taste is sweet, ripe, and tastes exactly like peaches. The finish is crisp, not lingering. It’s refreshing, not too rich. heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jan 9, 2005 About time I got around to trying this one. From a 12 oz. bottle. Thin white head. Body is a light amber with a few lazy bubbles working their way to the top. Aroma of peaches dominates. It also has the expected funky barnyard and some lemons. The taste is very interesting. Reminds me of sugary lemonade with some peaches thrown in. Also a hint of funky barnyard in the aftertaste. This is very nice while still remaining sweet. I like this a lot. hershiser2 (902), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jan 5, 2005 Peach colored with a small head. Smells of ripe peaches and other sweet things. Flavor is sweet peach- with a hint of leafish stuff in there, which is actually very nice. A tasty lambic. KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Dec 29, 2004 Updated: Jan 2, 2005More closely resembles a Belgian than any other of this style I have tried thusfar. The Belgian influence is obvious in the initial taste, and this is immediately followed by the peachy aftertaste. This lambic is Princess Lyndsay approved. Her Highness proclaims, "Excellent! It tastes like one million dollars!" Need I say more??? Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA Dec 23, 2004 Light in color, mostly resembling orange with a small head of foam. An appealing aroma of peaches (mainly skins), butter toffee, sugar and apple seeds. Horribly sweet and cloying. Unbelievably unbareable. Grainy, sugary and a taste that scarcely resembles the fruit depicted on its label. Terrible. lachesis (759), St Idesbald, Belgium Dec 21, 2004 Hazy light-orange color with almost no head. It smells apple-cider mixed with cheap aroma’s of sour candy’s. It also has the smell of Mango-chutny. The taste is sweet and sour with hints of oxidized apple, lemon sirup, and sour peache candy’s. This is not realy my thing. yayforbeer (641), Orange Park, Florida, USA Dec 14, 2004 Updated: May 24, 2005355 ml bottle. Corked and capped? hmmm... My first real lambic (we can’t count sam adams cranbery lambic can we?) and so I am in no way qualified to rate this. But I can tell you how it tasted to me.. Interesting to say the least. Loads of peach flavor. Tart, sweet, and a little creamy. Nice mouthfeel, good carbonation. Bought this for my wife while I had an Allagash Tripel 750ml on my birthday. Of course I had to taste it... this is a great "wife beer", she loved it (she didnt like my allagash tripel) I don’t think you could get a buzz on it if you tried with only 2.5% alcohol. Still, it is a very nice fruit beer with obvious quality. I’m buying the rest of the series for her, but hoping she doesnt drink it every day at $6 per 355ml bottle! This is the most expensive beer I have purchased to date. Not something I would spend money on regularly but interesting to try and a tasty special treat.. but a complete joke for a beer. Lindeman’s is laughing all the way to the bank. What a ripoff!
