charlotte (1996), Vanløse, Denmark Apr 23, 2009 Hazy golden colour with medium white head.Aroma is sweet of candy, sugar and peach.Flavor of acid and soda, with low carbonation.Mild short finish. DruncanVeasey (2690), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England Apr 21, 2009 Corked and capped 375ml bottle at The Penguin. Dusty amber with a level, subsiding white layer. Aroma of...you’ve guessed it, plus apricot jam sweetness, honey, very slight lambic dankness and manure-dappled straw. Far nearer the sweetshop than the farmyard. Tinned fruit with syrup and chemical sweetness taking over in the mouth, followed a sprinkle of honeyed tartness and an asti-like spritz, acidity and hint of wood that salvages some interest and enjoyment. Wine gum and apple juice afters. Just way, way too sweet. And artificially sweetened (Acesulfame K- 180-200 times sweeter than sugar, with that signature low cal bitter aftertaste- mmmm..). Don’t get me going. Just about acceptable patio refreshment. Ridiculously overrated. GMCC2181 (844), Bear, Delaware, USA Apr 19, 2009 Bottle shared by dzzz333, thanks dan. Capped and corked. Poured into a flute glass. Apple cider in color. Decent head. Aroma was of sweet peaches. Taste is the same... peaches. This one reminds me of a cider as well. Easy drinking.. Light in texture. Not bad at all. Thanks Dan plovmand (1588), Helsinge, Denmark Apr 19, 2009 Bottle. Bit hazy golden body with almost no head. Sweet peachy aroma with some sour touch. Flavour is very sweet almost sodapop like but the citric bit sourness saves this brew from disaster and makes it quite drinkable. The sweet peaches stays in your mouth several minutes after a sip. Medium bodied. satan165 (540), River Grove, Illinois, USA Apr 19, 2009 aroma of yeast funk and sweetness. subtle peach flavors creep in upon repeated sniffings. flavor is very sweet, but the thing that seperates it from HFCS fizzy lifting drinks (which its flavor does echo of to some extents) is the light funk produced by the spontaneous fermentation. incidentally, this is my only possible interest in this beverage, so im glad to see that it came to dinner. aroma becomes more enjoyable as the yeast and peaches truly marry. as for peach flavor, its hard to seperate just a ’sweet flavor’ from actual peaches. very dry end, very refreshing. with this low ABV, this is suitable for a number of summertime events. Anker (305), Hillerød, Denmark Apr 15, 2009 Bottle.
Pours golden with a small off white head.
Aroma is dry fruit and peach with sour-sweet notes.
It has a dry sour-sweet and peachy taste with notes of apples.
Not as good as their Kriek and Framboise versions. TheJollyOne (203), Kofu, Japan Apr 13, 2009 I am a huge sucker for this brewer, take my rating as you will. Nice slightly off white head, a dark clear yellow body. Nose is sweet with peach and cherry. Taste begins sweet with more of a sour cherry sensation, a weak peach comes more towards the end, the subtleness is nice though and balances well. Clean finish, bubbily and lively palate. More gold from Lindemans. Wim (1278), Turnhout, Belgium Mar 29, 2009 gold blond coloured little sparkling body with a white head a sweet fruity aroma a sweet fruity candy taste with a sweet fruity finish
