tiggmtl (4307), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jul 9, 2004 Extremely sweet peach aroma. Pale, hazy sunrise. Opaque and cloudy with very little head. Very sweet peach candy flavour. Light background brett is overshadowed by all that sugary sweetness. Sooth mouthfeel and gentle carbonation. Not very impressive for the style. Bottle. Sampled with MartinT and Rastacouere. Rastacouere (5551), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jul 9, 2004 Hazy apricot coloured body wearing little to no head. Terribly sweet peach aroma with distinct sugar character. Restrained brett and mild barnyard character tries to come out as it warms, but remains annihilated by the fruit. Not much acidity at all, very uni-dimensional. Soft medium body with high carbonation. Very disappointing and expensive (6.99/375ml) jmuhops (663), Winchester, Virginia, USA Jul 1, 2004 Bottle. Poured orange (one is tempted to say peach-colored) with a decent head. Peach aroma. Tastes a bit like a sparkling cider or wine cooler. Not quite my style, but very tasty and refreshing. Boutip (2332), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Jun 28, 2004 Bottle: Poured an orange colored beer with a nice huge head. Aroma is simply comprised of a nice peach nectar. Taste is also mostly comprised of peach with a subtle tart finish. This is probably one of the most refreshing beers that I had the chance to taste, sometime it seems more like a cooler/juice then a beer. Nothing is very complex with this beer and the alcohol level is quite low. JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia Jun 25, 2004 Peach/orange color with a thin white foam head. Smells peach, tart, and bubblegum. Tastes of peach and sour apple. Delicious. Aftertaste is runts candy: little green limes and fake banana. Sampled at RFD in Washington, DC. IndianaRed (1553), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 25, 2004 Pours clear amber, like sparlking cider would. Lots of rising bubbles. A quickly dissipating small head. Smell is of old damp oak barrels and only faintly of Peach. Almost not recognizable as such if I didn’t know allready. The taste is fantastic though. I am a sucker for these Lambics. I thought it was a perfect mix of tart and sweet. Peach flavor was strong but not artifical. A bit fizzy like soda but seemed just right. The finish was just slightly dry. Couldn;t resist slugging the last half down and now I am going on memory. I am hooked on this stuff, but at over $5 for 12oz, I’ll need a nother job to support my new habbit. TheDean (785), MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jun 24, 2004 Ok, I am becoming a big fan of the fruity beers, thanks to my fruity friend. INteresting flavor. I really hope the EU doesn’t screw this up! Pjones6738 (500), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jun 24, 2004 Cloudy orange. Sweet, perhaps slightly smoky scent. Nice wheat base to the flavor, with the peach taste layering nicely over it. This is a fantastic beer.
