fata2683 (836), Panama City, Florida, USA Feb 22, 2009 bottle, pours light gold with a small head. The aroma is all peach with a slight funk. Flavor is artificial peach ending slightly dry with a very light sourness. It’s artificial tasting, but refreshing. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Feb 20, 2009 375 mL bottle purchased from Frugal MacDoogal’s in Nashville. Poured a clear gold color with a fizzy, champagne like head. The aroma contained notes of apricot, peach and some yeast. The flavor was very strong with peaches. The body was medium/light and the carbonation was good. I really enjoyed this, despite thinking that I wouldn’t. Bontus (291), Waasmunster, Belgium Feb 3, 2009 Bottle 37,5 cl Hopduvel Ghent. Pours clear yellow with a fast fading white head. Aroma’s of bananas, soap and apricots. Flavors sweet and a bit sour. Luckily not sticky. Downside it is a bit thin bodied and lacks some tartness. Good brew for this low ABV. Gr0ve (1382), Oslo, Norway Jan 31, 2009 250 ml bottle. Golden colour. Clear. Small white fine-laced
head. Rich sweet apricot aroma. Sweet apricoty flavours. Sharp
sweetness, but the finish holds a nice acidic flavour that will cut
most of the sweetness. Higher alcohol content wouldn’t have hurt
this beer. Overall a really nice, but different, beer. Very
drinkable, except perhaps for the intense sweetness. thornecb (1735), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Jan 31, 2009 Pours deep gold into a tumbler. Fluffy bright white head with excellent retention. Peach aromas. Light and sweet with earthy peach from front to back. jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA Jan 29, 2009 Champagne like. Peach smell and taste. Tastes like sparkling peach juice with a light tartness.
hapjydeuce (763), Del Mar, California, USA Jan 26, 2009 Bottled, shared at Devins place while watching the Chargers blow their chance in the 2009 playoffs, again... Pours deep golden with rocky white head. Medium carbonation, and the nose gives way to heavily sugared peach and corn syrup. Smells okay. Flavor is a bomb of candied peach and hay. Lambic sourness is very subdued. One and done. blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA Jan 25, 2009 bottle, light golden color, aroma and flavor are sweet and effervescent, fruity finish
