Cost at my local North Coast Coop here in Eureka, CA was $9.45. Poured a hazy gold and left a small head that was gone in a jiffy. Big nose of peaches and some spices I cannot identify. Smooth palate. Taste is sweet but not overpowering. Very unique and nice to drink. Butters (1689), Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Jul 20, 2008 Shared with my wife on our 1 year anniversary. Pours a clear burnt yellow color with thin white head and decent lacing. Aroma has a hint of sourness, clean and fruity. Flavor is incredibly sweet, like fruit juice concentrate. Lots of peach notes, with just a twinge of sour. Body is like champagne, very high carbonation. Not as good as I recalled, but still tasty. douglas88 (1686), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

I have to be in the right mood to enjoy this, and it was pretty nice. Pours out a initially quite large white head that goes down to almost nothing. A beautiful clear copper body. The aroma is...well what do you expect peaches, both sweet canned kinds and a more natural tart kind. The taste was similar; it leaned towards a sugary sweet peach flavor, but some balance is achieved by a more tart flavor. Fizzy and highly carbonated. Not bad at all.

Strange fruity sweet yeasty aroma, little woody touches. Medium sweet and fruity body with a lot of sprankling. Sweet and sharper sour finish. Fruity, peach and ending rather sticky. Somewhat more sweeter with the added suggar and sweeteners. Not my kind of beer. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 20, 2009 Bottle at Chancey Smith’s in London, ON- A hazy yellow pour, is topped with a frothy eggshell cap that leaves nice lace. Full on fresh peach aroma, some yeast, tart citrus, smells inviting. Tastes sweet and tart. Lots of peach of course with a tart citric component that balances the sweetness. A bit of hops lead to a grassy finish. Very peachy and not overly complex, but refreshing and enjoyable. Thanks for the bottle Milos! NachlamSie (1657), Tennessee, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 7, 2007 A very over priced bottle. I have to say I was really looking forward to drinking this and ripping into it. I have developed a bias against the Linemans line after my encounter with their cherry soda. I was basically expecting peach soda out of this. But I’m going to be honest here, it does actually have some beer qualities. The pour is pretty standard: semi-cloudy gold with a tiny head. I bring the snifter to my nose and lo and behold, I detect beer! I do notice a bit of that lambic funk going on, just buried hints of sour fruit escape the peach onslaught. The flavor is a different story. Imagine opening a can of peaches by poking holes in the top then draining out the peach juice into a glass. It’s pretty close to that. This is basically pure peach juice in the way of flavor. I am thankful that the overbearing, artificial soda flavor of the kriek is not present here. This is fruity and sweet, but not punishingly so. My teeth feel like they may survive this ordeal. What makes me really angry is the price tag and marketing of this product. This is basically peach juice, especially at the 2.5 %. Why would I spend 7 dollars on peach juice? Why would I travel to an establishment other than an ordinary grocery store to purchase this stuff? This is not disgusting, but this is definitely not a true lambic. I don’t usually care for fruit beers, but I can respect some that still resemble beer. What is the point of making this a Lambic? The same thing could be done by just adding peach concentrate to a golden ale.
