COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lindemans Tea Beer is a lambic beer brewed with barley malt, wheat and hops. A spontaneous fermentation and maturation on tea leaves results in an artisanal tea-flavoured beer. Adding lemon juice we become a surprising "sweet-sour" lemon taste. Drink it icecold.

Amber with a minimal white head. Aroma is sweet with caramel, gummy bear candy, tea and some cinnamon notes. Taste is very sweet with some caramel and spicy tea notes, slight citrusy notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation.

I like tea. I like beer. I don’t like this. There’s a strange aftertaste that seems to doom an already awkward concoction.

One of the weirdest concoctions in the world of ’compromized’ lambic derivatives which Lindemans all but created. This is made with tea leaves and lemon juice as well as artificial sweetener; the sweet sourish result is not far away from iced tea. Original, but clearly not for me.

It looks a lot like an iced tea, but that’s not even what you’ll get. It has a sour taste that is not that bad although you would want them to go a little lighter on the sugar. The lingering taste is probably the worst part of it,n you’ll want to get rid of it as soon as you can.

With an overwhelming tea aroma, this beer has a dark brown appearance with a light head. It has a sour tea taste with a citrus flavor that lingers for a short time. This beer makes you think that the Germans might have some with Reinheitsgebot!

Bottle. Pours brownish amber. White head. Little brown floaters. Nose of old tea, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pleasant. Taste is a bit abrasive with tons of artificial sugar, tea, cinnamon and nutmeg. Short almost nonexistent finish. Lightish body.

Test vom 3.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,9,8,5,8,8 - 7,80
