COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lindemans Tea Beer is a lambic beer brewed with barley malt, wheat and hops. A spontaneous fermentation and maturation on tea leaves results in an artisanal tea-flavoured beer. Adding lemon juice we become a surprising "sweet-sour" lemon taste. Drink it icecold.

Bottle. Pours brownish amber. White head. Little brown floaters. Nose of old tea, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pleasant. Taste is a bit abrasive with tons of artificial sugar, tea, cinnamon and nutmeg. Short almost nonexistent finish. Lightish body.

Test vom 3.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,9,8,5,8,8 - 7,80

Bottle from Beer Planet. Pours golden with a white head. The aroma is extremely perfumed with strong sweet notes of violets, lemon and hints of cinnamon. Flavour is sweet with a sour hint and has mainly notes of sweet lemon et but also violets. Ends with a long violet after taste.

Bottle with a best before date of 28Jan2012 thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a hazed yellow body-orange body (not a very pretty hue) with a quick to fade white head. Aromas of lemon, sweetened green tea (Liptons type cheap stuff sold in soda bottles), a bit of funk, honey comb and cake icing. Flavors of SWEET. Wow, really sweet. Sort of ice tea (mass market) like, but sweet. A bit of lemon, and a lot of sweetness. Not a malty sweetness, a sugary one. Like most Lindemans beers, I feel like I might get diabetus from this, but unlike the other ones, the flavor really isn’t nauseating. A strange concoction. Beer cocktail like.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Very strong tasting zesty lemon and lambic sharpness. The tea is quite subtle. Nice refreshing beer.

head: white, thin
colour: bit hazy, orange, amber
smell: tea, sourness, malts, sugar, bit of bitterness
taste: definitly tea in it , but more a bad and flat/watery flavour of ice tea , sweet but not overly , some sourness , and a bit of a dry palate

Bottle - Amber. Thin white head. Aroma of lollies. Very sweet. Tea is present but drowned out by the sugar. Disappointing.
