COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lindemans Tea Beer is a lambic beer brewed with barley malt, wheat and hops. A spontaneous fermentation and maturation on tea leaves results in an artisanal tea-flavoured beer. Adding lemon juice we become a surprising "sweet-sour" lemon taste. Drink it icecold.

Gueuze sourness in aroma with sweet green tea added. Bit of cardammon or cinnamon. Orange-amber clear with off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts with nice sour-sweet balance, typical of the Lindemans line. Great green tea flavor, notes of rose. Finish is medium tart, with sugary undertones. After is mild with tea.

Bottled 25cl. It pours a golden beer with a white head. The nose is of candy. Woody and pleasantly sour with just a hint of tea. Sweet taste balanced by a good sourness. Decent lacing. Highly refreshing. Hints of candy, wood and lemon. A nice bite to this beer. Acidic finish with a hint of lemon.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small foamy head. Fruit strawberry and raspberry along with tea in aroma. Fruits and berries along with tea (incl the dryness) in the flavour. Very pleasant. Sweet and sourish finish and aftertaste.

Bottle. A - Light amber, somewhat like a typical lager color. Would be a light color for iced tea. Very little white foamy head that fades fairly fast. Very little lacing left over. S - A little like tea, but not as much as I was expecting. Some citrus (lemon and lime) as well as some cherry. T - Similar to the nose, mostly fruity and not as much tea as I was expecting. That said, there is definitely a bit of tea flavor, it just seems to be overshadowed. It does come out more as you drink though. The fruit flavors up front seem to be a mix of citrus (lemon and lime), along with a bit of cherry, peach, and very slight raspberry. This provides a mix between tart and sweet. Also possibly a bit of mint. M - Pretty light bodied. Decent amount of carbonation and fairly smooth. D - Very drinkable if you are in the mood for it. It is actually kind of similar to drinking some tea, that’s how easy it goes down. However, it doesn’t really have a traditional beer feel to it. Notes: Really interesting beer and I’m glad I tried it. It’s not really all that beer like, although it does somewhat remind me of a Flanders Red/Oud Bruin. You really have to be in the mood for this, and I luckily was when I had mine. This does make it harder to rate as since at the moment it’s hitting the spot and what I’m looking for I’m tempted to rate it higher. However, I think the majority of the time I would be less inclined to drink this. This rating is kind of splitting the difference between the two moods.

Bottle, 25 cl. (Bought by Pauwels) Clear orange color with small white head. Aroma sweet (sugar) fruits, lemon. Medium body. Taste is close to lindemans peache, very sweet, a little sourness, and a tea touch. But refreshing on a summer day ?

I seem to have liked this more than most.Poured a nice orange/amber colour with a small creamy head. The nose was quite nice. Rose water, lemond and a touch of yeast. The taste is... yeah, tea, dry, a bit astringent even, lemon (but not too much of it), some bubblegum and yeast. Original and interesting. Less ice tea like than I thought it would be. Oh, and a big part of the label was in Chinese. Odd.

right on jbrus I liked it too! It kind of tastes like how my ideal iced tea would. Fruity and a touch of that lambic sourness too. Probably a touch too sweet, but enjoyable nonetheless.
