Bottled a hazy golden beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and citrus, leading t a dry cardboardy finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Ins Glas gegossen, kommt das Weizen sehr hell daher, anfangs kaum trüb. Es schöumt sehr stark auf und extrem viel CO2 steigt empor. Es duftet hefig fruchtig, nach Orange. Der Antrunk erfolgt sehr spritzig fruchtig, leicht säuerlich und minimal hefig. Orangig im Nachgeschmack. Dieses Weizen ist mir fast schon ne Spur zu säuerlich, aber an nem heissen Sommertag wie heute schmeckts doch sehr lecker!

Bananiger, etwas säuerlicher Beginn. Im Mittelteil vielleicht etwas flach, die Bitterkeit ist zwar nicht übermäßig stark, ist aber dennoch am stärksten. Später wieder hefiger, wenig süß, stimmig. OK. 9/8/9/8/7/8

flip top bottle... ugly dark honey gold body, biggish off white head, ok retention no lace... ok but nothing new going on the nose, graham cracker crust, light clove, and yogurt... taste is flat, flavorless and boring, a bit more of that graham cracker, off metallic finish, just a sub par hefe

Fruchtig-herbe Geruchsstimmung. Geschmacklich herrscht bis zur Mitte eine fruchtig-säuerliche Linie vor. Danach etwas aromatische Tendenzen. Im Abgang herb und beinahe scharf.
Etwas strenges Weizen. Überzeugt mich nicht ganz.Test vom 5.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

500 ml flip-top bottle in Nurnberg, Germany. Picked up at the 14 FBF. Pale golden orange color with very nice thick smooth white head. Fruity lemon aroma with with baked bananas and toffee. Lemon, banana, some spices and wheat in flavour. Good Hefeweizen. Plesant.

25.06.2011. 0,5l Swing top bottle. From landbierdealer.de. Yellow colour with large white head. Aroma is wheaty with lots of banana sweetness and mild flavours of aromaic hops and wheat. Very good hefeweizen.

Swing top bottle. Blonde. Floral, wheaty aroma with banana. Wheaty citric flavor with yeasty and banana notes. Hint of butter. Hint of pepper in the aftertaste. Solid, pleasurable weizen.

Bügelverschlußflasche (Thanx to joss!): Golden, hazy, big fluffy slowly collapsing white head; pronounced yeasty nose; zesty aromas and toasty sweet wheat underneath; moderate sweet and light sourish flavour, soft, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet orangey-wheaty finish with an increasing, but still soft, acidity. Well crafted Landweizen.....

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a big frothy white head. Yeasty and wheaty aroma with moderately fruity note of banana and citrus, accompanied by shy phenolic spices. Moderately sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Wheaty and fruity taste with mildly clovy spices, quite dry and moderately sweet and slightly sour-fruity finish. Not particularly demanding but still a decent example of the style. 24.XI.10
