Draught at the brewpub, small thick dense head and lots of carbonation, murky orange colour with some yellowish taints, bready wheaty aroma with some yeast and bubblegum, the bready wheaty aroma continues in the flavour profile with some banana, quite light with a bitter sour aftertaste. Fair.

Marko (3766) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - MAR 7, 2010
Draught at Potsdamerplatz. Poured a superb apricot orange-yellow body with a creamy white head. The nose is dominated by bananas, but it is also gluey, dusty and lemony and overall very nice. My pre-taste opinion of this one was extremely high. Bready, slightly sourish but pleasant taste, bananas! Very tasty, sweetish. Light chewed up bubblegum later on. Refreshing too. Just great.

Rune (7346) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 29, 2009
300ml draught at the brew pub, Sony Center, Potsdamer Platz. Regular edition, ohne schuss. Hazy, amber-orange body colour. Tiny, but lasting, white tophead. Smell of spiced citrus fruits on a wheaty backbone. Cloves, citrus and ripe banana in flavour followed by dry, bitter citric fruits to the ending. Fined bodied giving a balanced and fresh impression. Good interpretation of the style. Not too sweet. Served under the motto Trinkt mehr Weissbier (Berlin, 21.11.2009).

Draught @ Lindenbräu Berlin, Bellevuestr 3-5, 10785 Berlin, Germany.
Hazy unclear medium orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, fruity, banana. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090918]

drpimento (2098) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 18, 2009
Served in a glass with some head and no lace. Color was a light apricot and very hazy. Aroma was traditional Bavarian Hefe Weisse, but with less of the banana and more citrus aromas. Flavor was the same way, but with more orange. Body was fabulous. It was more dense, almost approaching viscuous. Great finish. Pretty good beer actually.

chriso (7344) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 6, 2009
Draught at Lindenbräu am Potsdammerplatz, March 2009. Orange coloured cloudy wheat with a lasting fluffy white head. Lots of cloves in the aroma. Fairly spicy flavour. Sweetish. Slightly thin mouthfeel with a vaguely metallic and rather sharp aftertaste.

Papsoe (25094) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 24, 2009
On tap. Cloudy and opaque orangey golden with a dense, off-white head. Distinct yeast aroma and some hints of banana. Medium body, overly carbonated, yeast and banana yet very dry. Also the finish is dry without any bitterness. Mediocre Hefe. 100109

Draft at brewpub pours golden-orange, lacy with white and sturdy head. Faint nose of orange and banana with grassy edge. Flavor has a grassy bitterness but lacks sweetness and with low esters in backdrop. Pretty and refreshing but lacks balance and spice.

(6/19/08) Draught at the brewpub in Berlin. Cloudy dark yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of wheat, some banana esters and clove notes. Sweetish fruity flavor with wheat and some spices and light acidity towards the finish. Medium-bodied.
