From tap at brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a creamy white head. Malty and eserty banana and citric aroma. Acidic to citric wheat flavour initially, gives a away a dry set of fruity esters following this. Dry and bitter finish.

Cloudy amber to orange color, fluffy white head. Estery banana scent, also phenolic and a bit metallic. Phenolic and sweet taste, also banana. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

(Draught at the brewpub on 2008-02-07) Cloudy. Brown with some hints of red. Big lasting head. Banana in nose. Some hops in taste. Very light bodied. A disappointment to me.

On tap at the brewpub. Served with an orange, hazy body under a nice, dense, beige head leaving nice lacings. Banana and some yeast in the aroma, which could easily be more complex and pronounced, but I certainly didn’t expect much more from this tourist trap. The flavor is likewise, with banana and some yeast, and there’s also some wheat and cloves. A bit thin mouthfeel. It finished with banana and some hoppy bitterness. A quite anonymous hefe, but not foul. (070805)

On tap at Lindebrau, Berlin. An orange weizen with hazy texture. Citrusy aroma, orange flavour. Carbonated and creamy. Good but very little taste to it. Quite boring actually. Soft.

Epitome of a nice, drinkable wheat. Floral nose and very pretty cloudy look give this beer a good deal of promise. The taste is what you would expect and certainly not too bland. A tad on the murky side.

On tap. Cloudy amber colour with a lovely huge white head. Also lovely aroma of banana, yeast and wheat. Very nice tasty flavour of wheat, yeast and little hints of caramel. Ends up soft and very refreshing.

larsga (6120) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 15, 2006
Big, shiny, creamy lasting white head over hazy dark yellow body. Light acidic, spicy aroma with notes of yeast. Taste is milky, yet spicy, and lightly acidic. Soft yeast and wheat notes. Peppery, spicy aftertaste. Nice, drinkable, not terribly memorable. (0.3l on tap at Berlin Hauptbahnhof.)
