(6/19/08) Draught at the brewpub in Berlin. Cloudy dark yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of wheat, some banana esters and clove notes. Sweetish fruity flavor with wheat and some spices and light acidity towards the finish. Medium-bodied.

On tap at the brew house, Sony center, Berlin. Pretty good - tastes like a hefe.

At Lindenbräu, Sony Center, Berlin. Cloudy orange with a big and lasting white head. Aroma of banana and grain, with a touch of smoke. Sweetish malty flavour with banana and spice

Tap in Lindenbräu, Sony Center. Heavy visible carbonation, gradient cloudy golden with a huge creamy head. Nose is hugely yeasty and wheaty. low esters and cloves as well. Taste is just all yeast and wheat, gritty without being scratchy, dry with low bitterness but no phenols or esters. Medium, highly crisp body -- truly a wheat beer, but not really in the Bavarian sense.

On draught at Lindenbräu Potsdamer Platz. Hazy, deep golden body with a pillowy, pitted white head. Lasts forever. Pearly carbonation. Medium clove aroma with faint vanilla and light banana. Dough underneath peaks through after a few seconds. Grainy wheat malt flavor and some mineral water followed by some spice. Banana washes through at the end. Light body with high carbonation bordering on aggressive. Malty, fairly well attenuated with a clean finish. Good beer, but not the best Hefeweizen.

Draught at the brewpub. Murky orange coloured, medium sized creamy white head, fresh wheaty fruity nose. Sweet malty, moderate yeasty and mild spicy with strong banana presence. Refreshing weizen.

Tap @ the Brewpub, potsdammerplatz. Pours a cloudy gold, with a big thick fluffy white head. Strong banana, toffee, wheat, grain, tart lemon with a dry finish

Draught @ the brewpub. Cloudy, fluffy, yellow. Sweet banana aroma. Quite sweet, with a tiny bit of acidity for balance. Fairly fresh character. Pretty good stuff, actually.

Tap@Brewpub. Cooked veggies and banana aroma. Cloudy, beige head, dark yellow, good lace. Sugar, banana, hint of cooked veggies. Full and sticky.

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy orange, Soft wheat malt feel, banana, some citrus in the finish. All right.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy orange with a disappointing head. Orange notes in the aroma. Smooth with a tangy orange wheat finish. Low carbonation
