COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sweet warming aromas of pear and apple and a faint nutty flavour balanced by small additions of aromatic hops and followed by the aftertaste of our signature Belgian yeast.

Dark brown. Mild soapy and floral aroma. Big banana flavor up front, good body with a syrup-tasting plum finish. Rich.

A floral smell, hint of bannanas and cinnamon. Three is a strong bannana flavor, and a bit too much sugar. seems to be trying too hard to cover the alcohol.

Very appealing aroma that is sweet and fruity. Appearance is a nice dark amber color. Flavor is slightly malted with a definite nutty/fruity flavor. The palate is full and the beer feels good on the tongue. I've only tried one other Abbey (New Belgium), but I definitely like this one.

Golden-orange; surprisingly light in color. Slightly hazy, almost clear. No head to speak of. Peculiar, strange, atypical, astringent, bitter, overly carbonated, and sour in many wrong ways. Seemed very undone and green to me. Did I catch them at a bad time... or bad batch?

With New Belgium just down the road this is an audacious entry, and they do fine. The beer is big on cinnamon and and more sharply sugary than I like, but it has a nice round malty body and masks alcohol with the best of them.
