On tap: creamy white head. Hoppy aroma. Copper, amber color, hazy. Pacific North West haziness/hoppiness. Lingering hoppiness.

Some bitterness but overall lack of a nice floral character. Lacking in well done malt/hop balancing. Neat brewery though.

Draught. Body is light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted light bread), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin), lightly yeasty (dough). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, moderately astringent.

GABF 2002: Sparkling dark golden colour. Caramel aroma. Weak flavour. Uninspiring.

Nice lace with a bright golden hue. Cool and refreshing. Flowery aroma hops seemed a little undeveloped, and didn’t seem to reach their full potential. Mouthfeel was a bit watery. While I liked the earthy malt flavors, I would’ve liked to see a little more malt backbone... and maybe hops with more hairs on their chests. Decent bitterness builds though.

I just don’t get the malt that theoretically rounds out this rather limpid hop juice.
