Shared bottle @ Cardinal, Stavanger. Black color, brown short lived head. Aromas of roasted malts, chocolate and some coffee. Also some aromas which i resemble as "badly" home brewed beer. Thin flavors of dry roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. This is the better of their beers I’ve tried out. They have a long way to go though.

Bottle: Thanks to Fonefan: Dark brown pour, deep dark to blackish brown with a ruby shine on the bottom. A medium and fairly quick disappearing grey light brown head. Smell is mostly coffee, with roasted malts, roasted coffee and roasted barley. Taste coffee, coffee roast, roast and dark chocolate. Good bitter, some roasted malts and a bitter roasted hoppy taste that stays for a while. Nice and pretty good bitter, roasted aftertaste with a light herby touch to it. Low to medium carbo, soft watery light light tingly mouthfeel, medium to fuller body and a watery texture. Really good porter for such a low percentage of alcohol.

0,5 l bottle kindly shared by gunnar. Short lived, light brown film on a clear deep ruby coke colered body. Roasted, wooden and light burnt notes on the nose. Roasted, bitter flavors with a hint of chlorine. Smooth to drink. Medium body. Roasted and bitter finish. Now, we’re talking!

Bottle, courtesy of Beer2000, transported by - and shared with - Hanne Frosta. Thanks people! :-) Pours a deep brown, near-black body with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasty malts, nuts, bitter herbs and hints of smoke and tar. Taste is roasty malts with hints of ashes, tar and coffee. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation, and despite the voluminous taste this is a very drinkable beer. Quite smokey for a porter, but maybe that’s the point? Very nice regardless, especially for a (relatively) low ABV porter.

500 ml bottle, many thanks to gunnar. ABV 4.7%. Black colour, large to moderate brown head - looks good, but retention could have been better. Strong roasty and woody dryish aroma, notes of coffee. The flavour is dry and roasty, coffee and woody notes again, fairly biiter finish. Woody aftertaste. Not the greatest porter in the world, but much better than the other beers I had from Lindesnes.

Bottle from Mannen, Mandal. Pours black as Coke with no head at all.Aroma of dark sweet burnt caramel, roasty notes as well, rather pleasant aroma. Taste of roasted malts, moderate sweet, coffee and liquorice. Quite good beer considering the low abv. The best beer from Lindesnes, by far.

Bottle, 4.7%. Good citric aroma, perhaps from hops. Almost black colour. Seems clear. Very small head. The flavour is nicely roasted with a good citric note. Tastes like citric hop. The mouthfeel is a little thin, but OK for the ABV.
