Bottle at Hr. Redaktør, Mandal. Hazy gold. Dry mouth feel, definitely different from the pilsener. Clean bitterness, light body. Refreshing.

500 ml bottle at Hr. Redaktør. Last bottle shared with KnutAlbert and sampled side by side with the Gahre Pilsner. Definitively a different beer, the body is paler, aroma less fruity and overall dryer. Anyway, an almost clear golden body with a fine and stable white head. Lively carbonation. Aroma is quite mild grainy with a grassy hop profile. Flavor has a bit more fruit than expected from aroma, light soft malt/grain with a grassy bitterness and quite dry finish. Medium body. Refreshing easy going beer for the summer with a nice light flavor.

Bottle, at Hr. Redaktør. It pours an almost clear, golden body, with a good carbonation and a big, dense, white head leaving beautiful curtains. Pale malts in the back, with grassy, light flowery and piney hops. Pleasant bitterness in the flavour, with pale malts, some pine cones and grass and a light peppery touch. Medium to full body, creamy and nicely carbonated. Pleasant bitterness in the end. Certainly a pleasant summer beer. 121014
