Bottle.Pours cloudy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, lime, spices and fruitiness. Flavor is sweet and malty with some bitterness and floral hops. Medium body, average carbonation. Somewhat mild for the style.

Bottle. Pale amber colour with a beige head. aroma is peach, malt, fruit, grass. Flavour is peach, malt, hop, fruit, grass. Medium body. OK beer.

50cl bottle from trade with Fonefan, shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy amber color, small off-white head. Smell malts, slightly hops. Taste malts, lightly hops, very refreshing easy drinkable beer. Soft carbo, low to medium body.

Hazy orange to brown colour with a small creamy white head. Smells hoppy, orange peel, fresh. It’s all very subtle but quite nice. Tastes hoppy, bitter, flowers, refreshing. Soft palate, bit silky, soft carbo and a decent body.

Shared bottle @ Cardinal, Stavanger. Can’t give this beer any score. It was ruined. Well oxidized, and tasted only of cardboard. Setting the cardboard taste aside, there was little or no taste or aroma of hops!?! this is the first pale ale iv’e had without any hops present. I really hope that Lindesnes brygghus will focus more on their brewing routines and quality control, as i think the quality control is none-existing at the moment... I hope I will taste something better from this brewery in the future!

0,5 l bottle kindly shared by gunnar. Pours a cloudy, deep golden-chestnut colored body with a light brown film. Herbs, piss, barn, caramel and light notes of spices on the nose. Sweet, bitter and metallic flavors with notes of chlorine. Medium body. Grows in the mouth and stays fizzy. Not recommended.

Nose is cherries, light grassy tones and hints of wet leaves. Taste is earthy root-like tones, with mild citrus and grass hints. Smooth palate. Nice and original enough; particularly since the style English Pale Ale is not too common in Norway. :-)

500 ml bottle, thanks to the ever generous beer enthusiast gunnar. ABV is 4.7%. Cloudy brown colour, large off-white head. Smell of not-quite-fully-fermented homebrew, some fruity notes (green apples) and dusty malts, some woody notes too. The flavour is woody and medium dry, some fruity notes makes the beer drinkable. Bitter finish. Woody aftertaste. Could have been worse, but Lindesnes Brygghus has apparently a long way to go.

Light unclear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, UK hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, hoppy, light salty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120218]

Bottle from Mannen, Mandal. Pours hazy amber with a small tanned head. Dark malty roma, toffee and grains. Taste is light and malty with some cellar and earthy notes, yeast and caramel. Not the best beer...

Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grassy and floral hops. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
