Light amber pour with puffy white head. Aroma is extremely subtle, dampened by the big head. Hoppy character with hints of grapefruit and orangepeels. Taste is bitter, but not too long-lasting.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Enormous lasting head, more head than body. Very strong
carbonation, it almost boils. Clear pale amber body. Intense
floral citric peas aroma with spicy kiwi notes. Very clean and
clear. Dry-sweet mealy tropic fruit and peas taste with earthy
spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dry
earthy spicy floral aftertaste with peas and fruit notes. Very
long bitter lingering finish, but somehow it’s OK. Very nice
beer, and it’s really surprising they’ve managed to make
something so bitter work this well in just 4.7%. (0.5l bottle,
from Meny Vika, Oslo.)

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
0.5l bottle from #0115L20. I had to show the grumpy old lady in the cashier ID to buy this, so this better be a good one! Starts nice with a cloudy deep orange looking body under a medium sized bright white lacing top. Quite a lot of grains on the nose. Not only that though, as I get clear hints of peachy fruits and vegetables. A tad to grainy for my personal preference. Tastes lot better. It has a nice rye like burntness with a nice malty base all the way. It feels thin oily, almost a little watery in the mouth and it’s gently carbonated with small prickling bubbles. Turns quite buttery and almost a little pungent in the finish. Definitely wouldn’t hurt to turn the knot up a couple of abvs to get a little better balance here, but it a fairly drinkable grocery strength "IPA". No instant urge for a revisit though. 31.01.2014

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Slightly hazy pale amber body with a large, off-white, very long-lived head that laces the glass well. The fairly strong aroma is crisp and acidic with citric notes, pine and some tropical fruits. The flavour is moderate, almost a bit faint, with resinous piney notes, grapefruit and caramel in the back. The regular tropical fruits are very subdued. The taste isn’t very bitter at all, this is closer to a gently hopped APA. It’s crisp, clean and drinkable, though, a bit dry and a fitting moderate carbonation. This IPA is a much better pale ale than their pale ale.

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
The beer was overpriced, and tasted almost the same as the Lindesnes Pale Ale. The aroma was ok, but the taste was very boring and not interesting at all. Typical pale ale brewed to fit the Norwegian alcohol sales rules.
