   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 14/20
Palme (3440) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 17, 2014
On tap @ Amundsen. This is a clear looking deep amber-golden one. It also has a nice big light beige head with good retention and nice lacing capabilities. Lots of yeasty zesty melon on the nose. Papaya comes to mind, lychee juices, herbal juniper branches and hints of smoke. Buttery wood-souish flavors at first. It’s a little out there on the sweet side perhaps and in the mouth it feels light oily-sticky with a really soft only prickling carbonation level. It’s ending quite herbal and again a little sweet. Concentrated berry juices perhaps? Not sure, but it’s tasty never the less. What kind of beer is this? Dunno, but it’s definitely not bad. 14.02.2014

larsga (6240) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 3, 2014
Medium beige head. Clear deep brown body. Perfumy lavender and spice aroma with syrupy notes. Sweetish-dry lavender and cardamom taste with caramelly buttery notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, slightly hot mouthfeel. Dry buttery cardamom, wood and cinnamon aftertaste wooden caramel notes. Interesting and unusual. Heavily spiced, but somehow it works. (0.25l draft at Amundsen, Oslo.)

Tilbakelent humleprofil. Brygget sammen med Ignacio "Nacho" Servantes fra Port Brewing og Tom Alfred fra Amundsen.
