On tap @ Crowbar. This is a near-clear golden looking one with a nice big lingering and sidesticking white top. The nose is mild grainy with reeds, soft toffee sweetness and pine cones. Quite inviting. It’s mild to average on the carbonation and it has a nice oily mouthfeel. Soft buttery flavors at first, lots of caramel and herbal branches. Bitter birch juices, resin and a fair amount of citrus. Tastes quite nice, a bit astringent finish and aftertaste on this. Something I could purchase again. 14.02.2014

On tap at Øltorget. January 10th 2014. Golden body with a big white head. Aroma of fresh fruity hops, citrus fruits, pine and caramel. Taste is lightly sweet with lots of tropical hops, with a solid bitter hoppy aftertaste. A very nice ipa!

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Golden colour, slightly hazy, large and creamy white head. Moderate but pleasant aroma of fruty and piney American hops. The flavour has distinct piney / resinous and fruity American hops throughout, some malts but not too sweet (quite dry, actually), very refreshing. Good beer.

Sampler at Håndverkerstuene. Batch 3. Hazy orange colour with a minimal to non-existent head. Aroma is massive hops with large amounts of tropical fruits, pine, malts, caramel and toffee. Flavour is bitter. Loads of hops and malts. Pine, resin, tropical fruits and spices. Long, lingering aftertaste.

Golden. Persistent foamy head and good lacing. Aroma of lime and grape fruit. Some mint. Full and balanced taste of citrus marmelade. Slightly crude bitterness. Bitter aftertaste.

Lindheim tasting at Håndverkerstuene. Almost clear deep golden with a rather small white head. Hoppy aroma with grassy notes, citrus, pine, malt and hints of caramel. Medium sweet with dominating hoppy flavours and a fairly long lasting bitterness. Certainly a decent IPA!

On tap @ Kick. Clear golden with a fine off-white head. Fantastic fresh aroma, mostly citric fruit, pine and some light malt. Flavor is light malty, medium sweet, lots of citric fruit and rather bitter. It actually feels a bit like sucking on hop pellets, but not in a bad way, it just manage to keep the balance between too bitter and delicious bitter. Fine, balanced body and long lasting bitter aftertaste. A really nice one, probably one of the best Norwegian IPA these days.
