On tap at Kick. A clear dark golden beer with a dense off-white head. Lots of citrus and pine cones in the aroma, sure like sticking your nose into a bag of hops. Lovely indeed. The flavor has the same lovely hoppyness, some nice maltyness in the back. Full body, soft carbonation. Lasting finish. A pretty lovely one, sure gonna repeat this one. 140213

Taster, 100ml draught at Brygghus 9. Off-white head, solid lacing down the glassware. Body colour was amber-gold, near-clear. Moderate aroma of juicy malts, lightly spiced. Similar malt-fruity flavours of caramel, herbs, and spiced fruits. On the sweet side of bittersweet to the ending. Foamy in the mouth. Accepted, perhaps not that convincingly for a ipa (Trondheim 30.10.2014).

Pours clear deep golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grape, orange and hop pellets. Taste is medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter with a long bitter and citrus fruity finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Cafe Sara as Lindheim/Port Brewing Nacho Libre. A clear brass colored IPA, very grassy, I imagine this would be more popular on the US West Coast than in rural Norway, but it certainly appeals to me. In your face bitterness. Extra applause for reaching out for international contacts from day one.

On tap at Crowbar, Oslo. Pours Cloudy dark golden with a big creamy white head. Strong powerful hoppy aroma. Taste is crisp and superfresh hops, grassy and citrussy, lovely all over, lingering fruity bitter. Good.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Golden colour, slightly hazy, large and creamy white head. Moderate but pleasant aroma of fruty and piney American hops. The flavour has distinct piney / resinous and fruity American hops throughout, some malts but not too sweet (quite dry, actually), very refreshing. Good beer.

Sample at Bergen Ølfestival 2014. A bit hazy golden/orange with a small head. Fresh aroma and taste of hops, hay, pineapple, grapefruit and some toffee. Nicely drinkable and with a pleasant bitterness.

Clear golden color with a fine thick creamy white head. Solid lacing. Rich grapefruit hoppy and solid tropical hoppy aroma. Nice body. Balanced sweetness vs bitterness. Creamy texture. Nice grapefruit hoppy, smooth fine tropical fruity and malty. Powerful, and yet very fresh and tasty.
[On tap at Daglighallen in Trondheim, Norway]
