Big offwhite head. Clear brown body with light carbonation. Fruity strawy caramel aroma with oily notes. Sweetish grainy caramel and fruit taste with wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish fruity papery aftertaste with wooden notes. It’s OK, but too papery. (0.4l draft at Jekyll & Hyde, Lillestrøm.)

On tap @ Crowbar. This is a clear dark amber bronze colored one with a nice medium sized beige top. The nose has a good amount of sweet malty dark caramel. I also get some tones of red dried fruits and hints for licorice. Not to extreme but it smells quite nice. It has a big bubbled above average carbonation level wrapped in a light oily mouthfeel. Quite nice flavors. It’s not to sweet but it has a marked malt sweetness all the way. Traces of nuts and caramel. Well rounded off finish with a little kit of a mouthdrying aftertaste. Yeah, I could drink this again! 16.02.2014

Lindheim tasting at Håndverkerstuene. Clear deep amber with a lasting tan head. Malty aroma with caramel and moderate hoppy notes. Fairly sweet and caramely, but very well balanced. Mild bitterness in the finish. Easy drinkable and quite enjoyable.

On tap at Cafe Sara. Quite balanced bittersweet, but too many etsers to make this really work. It gets sweeter and more cloying as I drink, does not win me over. Try again.
