Cak at the Sair Inn, Linthwaite. Straw-coloured barley wine/ESB. Powerful fruit aroma. Powerful punch of fruits and hop with an intense dry, bitter finish. Warm alcohol also present in the finish. Rich palate makes this an ideal autum/winter drink. Just don’t drink too many. Edit: have been notified that this beer has been discontinued.

Tried this in Sair Inn in Linthwaite. I was glad I was cycling. Bursting with complex aromas this ale really packs a punch. Rich fruity and rather to easy to drink. Try it at your peril.
