Well, it’s not your regular beer. You have to judge it for what it is. It’s a low alcohol beer, meant as alternative for the moments you can’t drink too many. It’s not easy to make a good flavored low alcohol beer. Name me one that tastes good? This one at least tastes moderately good. It’s sweet, malty, honey, grainy and hasn’t much depth to it, but I’m happy to drink it on days I have to drink it instead of a water or lemonade. You can’t compare this to proper 5+ abv beers.

Bottle bach @ base camp, Utrecht. The pour’s clear gold with an artificial looking, oily head. The nose is rotten vegetables, some cardboard, honey. The taste is nasty sweet honeyed bread and knackered vegetable soup. Cheap-ass paper. Watery and objectionable palate. Overall, weak effort.

30 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Coop. Pale yellow with a minimal white head. Faint sugary aroma. sugary taste with minimal malts and grains. Short aftertaste. Like making love in a canoe.

33 cl botlle. Clear yellow colour, minimum white head. Almost no carbonation. Aroma is almost absent, only some malts. Taste is sweet and veru short. No aftertaste. Light body. I’m sorry, but I wouldn’t call this a beer. At these occasions I’d rather prefer a sodadrink.

Clear goldblond coloured beer with medium white head and lots of carbonation. Hopped herby aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is wattery bit bitter sweet. Not good.

Test vom 11.11.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,3,2,1,4,2 - 2,80

Bottle. Pours a clear, golden colour with a small white head. Almost no aroma and little flavour. Didn’t expect that much from this beer and I didn’t got much either. Watery on the palate and really nothing going on here...

Yellow colour with a white head. Moderate hoppy and malty aroma. Fresh malt and light hoppy flavour. If my dutch friend did not tell me that I had bought a low alcohol beer. I would hardly have noticed.

Fazit: Nichts besonderes. Pours pale golden with a low head. No aroma, grainy malt flavor. Pretty awful, there’s no way around it.
