30 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a collapsing white head. Dry grassy and cornish aroma. Vague citrus fruity hops note, subdued sweetness and mild bitterness. Mild citrusy hoppy into a mild and fruity finish. Elegant and refreshing.

An orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet caramel with notes of hay. The flavor is sweet caramel with perfumated tones and a dry hoppy end. This beer is really good considering, that it is only 2% alcohol - I couldn’t detect that.

Papsoe (25088) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 29, 2005
(Bottle 30 cl) Pale golden, very limited head. Light sweetish malty feel and a very subdued bitter finish. Extremely soft and pleasant mouthfeel. Naturally this has a very skinny body, but you never doubt, that this is a REAL beer: no cardboard flavour, no metallic edge and no sticky, artificial sweetness. Definitely one of the best low alcohols I’ve ever had. 290605

Bottle. Bready aroma. Clear golden colour, big stable white head. Quite sweet and bready. Tastes like semi-fermented beer. Half wort, half beer. Low bitterness. Caramelly sweetness in aftertaste.

Bottled (BB 04/2006)
Pale yellow, small white head. Sweet, rubbery, malty - non alcohol - nose. Very carbonated mouthfeel. Malts (wort) and some sugar in the flavor, finishes harsh/bitter. Actually drinkable as low alco as a thirst-quencher.

Bottle. [thank you Skortila/caesar]
Pours pale, flat golden. Medium, bubbly, fizzy, white head soon disappears. Aroma is quite citrussy, some sweet malts and sugars behind it. Mouthfeel is actually surprisingly fine for only 2 %. Lowish carbonation. Flavour is very mild, but not as terrible as other low alcohol beers. There is a lot of the citrussy notes from the aroma, but also a fine malty and fruity balance. This is a low-alcohol that I could drink.
